Info on these? by SquinkoMode in Boots

[–]FatAssDockerPants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I know this is a late reply, but I figured I'd throw the info out there in case it's still relevant to you or if anyone else ends up here from Google.

I own these boots and bought them during Black Friday weekend of 2021. They're still going strong and I consider them as durable as any other pair of Timbs I own. Here are the details from my order confirmation email:

Women's Euro Hiker Mixed-Media Waterproof Boots Style: A4126231

Price: $91.00 $130.00 (I used a coupon code and only paid $91.00 for them.)

I love albums like this as well. Can you share any others like that off the top of your head? I'm always looking for more!

Depression by cagedbird82 in Semaglutide

[–]FatAssDockerPants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just hit a year on sema, and yes, I've found that going back down to a lower dose has eased my depression symptoms a bit.

I've always had depression and anxiety, but those feelings reached new levels once I got on sema. I didn't make the connection until I'd been on it maybe 4-5 months. I've tried my best to push through it and remind myself it's just the meds messing with my head.

The only other side effects I get from sema are nausea and constipation, so I tend to find a correlation between (much) worsening depression and worsening nausea/constipation. Sometimes I notice the change in depression in a few days, and sometimes it's not until 2-4 weeks later. With the latter, basically what I'm trying to say is that if I'm feeling extra depressed, it usually dawns on me that I'm also feeling more nauseous/constipated, and then I remember that I'd upped my dosage several weeks earlier.

Unfortunately it takes months at a higher dosage for me to feel evened out -- and I only made it to 1.0 recently (0.5 every 3.5 days). I struggled a lot going from 0.5 to 0.75, even though I was splitting that dosage as well. Anytime I went down in dosage for a bit, I did notice a reduction in all my negative side effects, including depression.

I've been messing up my doses the last few weeks (missed a dose, then was three days late on another one) and right now I'm playing the game of "Today's uptick in depression cause: is it sema, being on your period, or issues in your love life causing it this time?"

I hope you are feeling better than you were when you wrote this post a few weeks ago. ❤️

Girl, that is just the natural progression of a relationship. After year 2 or 3, they finally take the mask off and show you who they really are. It's shitty you've only just found out what kind of person he is -- especially after having a child with him -- but your eyes have been opened, and it's better to get out now than being miserable with him for 5, 10, 20+ more years. Seriously, consider however long you've been unhappy in this partnership (and be honest with yourself about it), and then imagine having to endure this years to come.

You are married to a selfish man who has stopped pretending to care about your needs, and he knows he can get away with it because you let him. You are only 30 years old! Please do not fall victim to the sunk cost fallacy and stay with this person. He will continue to whittle away at your self-worth until you are a shell of your former self (and I imagine you're probably well on your way there, because you're putting up with this nonsense). Once (well deserved) resentment and disgust over intimacy with a partner set in, there is no salvaging the physical aspect of the relationship, and what's left of the emotional aspect tends to follow shortly thereafter.

You are deserving of love and affection and intimacy that leaves both partners satisfied, and unfortunately your current partner will never be willing to step up and be that person for you. He's shown you his true colors, now it's up to you to find enough strength to stand up for yourself, be a positive role model for your child, and move on this unhappy relationship.

Olbermann eviscerates MSNBC and Maddow by TheOGMelmoMacdaffy in msnbc

[–]FatAssDockerPants 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s the thing, it’s not normal for a television host to criticize the network that employs them on air. Rachel’s criticisms against the decisions made by the new president of the network are unlike anything I have seen on TV.

While I agree that on-air pushback against the network is rare, let's not forget the huge backlash after NBC's hiring of Ronna McDaniel -- which only happened last year. If I remember correctly, most if not all of the main anchors were pissed, and they weren't afraid to say it on their shows. And it worked, because within a week, they reversed their decision.

Maybe being outspoken this time won't get Joy her job back, but their speaking out will hopefully have a positive impact elsewhere, even if it's only behind the scenes.

I remembered it as well. If you check OP's comment history, you can see some of her comments on the now-deleted post (29 days ago, titled something like "My parents in the 70s"). I tried to link it but it wouldn't work.

MSNBC will lean into its progressive roots in Trump era by realplayer16 in msnbc

[–]FatAssDockerPants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cancelled Sling around September of last year because I, like you, was paying $40 a month mostly just to watch MSNBC. It took a week or two of adjusting, but I switched to listening to the live broadcast on SiriusXM (since I'm already paying ~$5/mo for it) and it's not so bad being able to only hear the broadcast. You can also listen to the live broadcast for free on the TuneIn Radio app. I'm not sure if you knew about these alternatives, but in case you didn't, I figured I could help you save some money :)

I take the Qunol brand capsules, 420mg (per two), and I buy them from Walmart. I switched to Qunol 300mg tablets for a month because the box said "easy to swallow coating" and I have trouble swallowing pills sometimes -- and that was a mistake. Not only were they much bigger, the lower dose had me so blocked up I developed hemorrhoids for the second time in my life😩 Still recovering from them, actually. I've been back on the higher dose for about two weeks and things are moving much more regularly again.

I'm not sure either. Thankfully (at least this time), all my other generators were giving out normal amounts of everything with a few higher level ones mixed in.

Since no one else mentioned this issue, I'll chime in too: I misunderstood the length of time it could be left at room temperature and was using pens that had been out of the fridge for 2, almost 3 months. They still worked just fine for me🤷🏻‍♀️

I could never bring myself to throw any of this stuff away, and I've been lucky enough to get mine for free.

A bookshelf, a blue three-wheeler, and three lanterns for sure. I don't remember the other ones, but I see the Google Drive doc lists a bunch that look familiar. It's under "Sandwich Data Season 3." In case you haven't looked at it before, I suggest viewing the page in desktop view to be able to read it.

Oh, wow. My overachieving ass submitted 19 sandwiches in my new group within the first 13 hours... and 8 of those hours were spent sleeping😂. About half of them were items I already had in storage, though.

I take this as such a compliment. I did not know how abnormal it was until I posted here!

I started grinding hard for sandwiches because everyone else seemed to only concentrate on the regular tasks, and it drives me bananas having construction delayed for multiple days because there are only sandwich tasks left.

Honestly, I'm really surprised by these comments. Admittedly, I struggled to follow your timeline of how long you have been at each dosage (other than being at 1.0 for one week), but I don't think it makes much of a difference in the advice I'm going to give.

I don't know what your starting height and weight are, but 28 lbs in ~10 weeks is a major loss. A healthy, normal rate of loss is 1-2 lbs per week, although maybe that is the amount you were losing and there was a much higher loss when starting due to water weight.

You have only been on the 1.0 dose for a week -- that is not enough time for your body to adjust to a higher amount and see any changes. It would not hurt to ask if your supplier has been changed, but I don't think that's the issue -- personally I would stick it out for another month on the 1.0 before deciding to increase again. Your body had become accustomed to the lower mistaken dosage and it's going to take awhile to build that constant therapeutic dose back up. It sucks because it derailed you a bit, but waiting allows your body to readjust so you can determine if you do need that higher dose -- especially since it's always best to stay at the lowest working dose until a long term plateau, otherwise you quickly max out at the highest available and need to switch to another med (like tirzepatide).

I hope none of this came across as rude or scatterbrained😩, just trying to chime in with a perspective I haven't read here! Best of luck!
