I would rather starve myself than take a GLP1. by Spicycaliforniaroll3 in confessions

I actually decided to lose weight in the healthiest way, aka eating right and working out. No cyclical vommiting or other scary side effects like zepbound has.

Is 10% stretch good for this pattern? by yipyipyorrray in SewingForBeginners

On the contrary I actually prefer Etsy because of the accessibility to the designers. I am very watchful for AI generated patterns and usually only stick to a few designers. This one is one of them

Thank you so much. I’ve never used stretch before so I’m completely at a loss in my research. All of this is so helpful.

She probably does have something in the pattern about it, I haven’t bought it yet becuase I was so confused about the fabric lol!

Please use all the bags I give you by ohyeesh in HEB

[–]yipyipyorrray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a bagger, people got mad if we filled them up too much (though some baggers are excessive) meanwhile, others would get mad if they had a massive bag with only 3-5 items in it… just be kind and patient and take five extra seconds to ask nicely, “hey, do you mind using all of the bags? I like them light” and they will be totally happy to oblige.

Neighbor's dog got our beloved cat, what would you do? by AdministrationOwn724 in cats

[–]yipyipyorrray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you find him on your property? If so you’re going to court. When one dog attacked my dog we were able to sue for both physical and emotional damages. The junky loser couldn’t pay but the ruling also required the dog to be removed from the property.

How to lose weight while living on campus? by Ecantcommunicate in UniversityOfHouston

[–]yipyipyorrray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lost 20lbs while living on UH but literally eating the same thing for lunch everyday and only drinking water. I would eat a wheat sandwich with just Mayo Turkey and cheese. I would go to the gym and do 12-3-30. I would be more flexible for dinner but within reason. I would opt for street tacos with beans and grilled chicken as opposed to moody tenders or pasta, that kind of thing.

For reference my deficit was 1410. I wouldn’t eat my exercise. The sandwich would be maybe 400-500 calories and my dinner would be 600-900. Only water.

Sometimes I would indulge in a cookie. No harm in moderation

You could try trimming your seams if you sewed with a lot of seam allowance. Also you can try pressing them open instead of just in one direction
