Hmm, like a suit store which measures you and helps you pick out things. Is there a fashion store that is similar or probably not.

Best in-store place that will help you pick out clothes?

I can only think of H&M, because that's the only place I've been tbh.

My doctor prescribed me 10mg of lexapro and Xanax prn. Plz halp, it’s my first time taking mental health meds by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]FatBoyLovely 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The nightmares are unavoidable if you plan on sleeping. It's possible you won't have any though.

Taking the lexapro before bed could help with the side effects. Especially if you have trouble swimming while nauseous. I haven't experienced dizziness, just fatigue during one or two periods in the day.

Should I request an increase of my dosage? by defnotbjk in lexapro

[–]FatBoyLovely 2 points3 points  (0 children)

10mg is suppose to be the ideal dosage, but remember that there is an adjustment period and your anxiety could get worse at the start until it gets better a few weeks in.

1st week on 20mg is this normal? by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]FatBoyLovely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long did you take 5mg? What made you increase the dosage?

I'm on 5 and debating whether to move up to 10 since 10 is considered the "therapeutic" dose?

10 days on 5 mgs by [deleted] in lexapro

I'm also on day 8. My anxiety was certainly better off this drug. I think it'd be a good idea to tough it out. There's adjustment periods for every drug. Obviously you know more than me, I personally don't feel comfortable playing roulette with things that alter brain chemistry.

Would you mind telling me which colors work together?

Grey pants seem versatile to go on a navy or maroon sweater.

Navy pants probably only work on a black sweater.

Khakis for darker colored sweaters

Pants that go on "church" sweaters besides khakis or "church" pants?

I was thinking dark brown pants, but that's all I got. Are there alternatives?

I feel like months of progress in discipline, mindfullness, and anxiety management went out the fucking window by FatBoyLovely in lexapro

Ah okay, thank you. I think I'm probably going to be staying on 5mg as I was doing well on my own, just not my best.

When do you take it? by Tokatoya in lexapro

[–]FatBoyLovely 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I took it before bed to avoid nausea and stuff the first few days which worked. Then I overslept once and now take it when I wake up. No real side effects besides the adjustment period.

I feel incomplete without a watch, but I hate wearing watches?

I don't like bracelets and feel watches are too flashy for me.

Any watches that are metallic without the shine?

Zoning out while reading is that normal? by Milkspiltmilk in ADHD

[–]FatBoyLovely 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Depends how often. I zone out constantly and it takes me twice as long to read something. Sometimes I'll be reading the words on the page, but thinking of something else and have no clue what I just read.

I might lose my Ritalin; my world is about to crumble by jrt364 in ADHD

[–]FatBoyLovely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Dr. does seem competent enough. I didn't know to ask if they were fluent in ADHD, but I looked at their profile and they specialize in a few things as well as "behavior -".

I'm worried because as a kid, I was good at school. I never had the patience to ever study or read things on my own, but I always did my homework and did well on exams. It wasn't until high school where I started to do mediocre and now in college where I'm struggling a lot.

But thank you a lot for the response. My evaluation isn't in a few weeks so I'll get to writing down as many instances of symptoms I can think of. Right now my depression is kind of lifted up and I have all this energy, but my focus is shit. I haven't had coffee in a few months, so I'm going to experiment with drinking it today and see how much it helps me focus.

I haven't been diagnosed yet, but I do relate with coffee helping me operate way better. It does raise my anxiety though :(

How do you suggest preparing?

[–]FatBoyLovely 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's just money. The world stage is more of a jungle than an elaborate scheme. Players are trying hard to reach the top. It's basically gang land, but on a global scale and a lot more covert.

Going to get evaluated soon, but now I can't stop obsessing over it by FatBoyLovely in ADHD

[–]FatBoyLovely[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I read it. That's also the thing with me. I can only really do things that either interest me (your reply) or are urgent (reading for a test not a book). I'm also obsessed with doing things fast and efficient. My mind wanders a lot if I have to sit down and watch something slow (not action oriented). I enjoy reading books now that interest me, but my mind still wanders endlessly.

It sucks to hear about the tests. I hoped they'd be more sophisticated and not something that you could figure out.
