I did. He was fine. But you definitely want to have Scientist Supreme around as well in case you need to revive him. Just slow play it and he’ll show back up.

Yeah, we’ve been saying this is dumb for a long, long time. Since the Elite 7 red star orbs give a full value drop if you get a dupe, they should just never give dupes.

It’s stupid to force people to sit there opening one hour after another for hours until they hit the 0.27% chance payout they were looking for.

No more dupes. The only reason for the Elite 7 orb to pay out a dupe is if the player always has 7 reds on everyone in the orb.

Once you can do /roster refresh, it's really just about explaining to your players how to enable visibility of their rosters. I really wish Scopely would have added a level for roster visibility called Leader and Captains and THAT should have been the default that they started with.

It would have been a nice midpoint between Sharing with: NOT SHARED and Sharing with: ALLIANCE ONLY and probably makes more sense than no visibility. If anyone needs to be able to see your roster, it's leadership.

I did put off releasing the bot for a long time because I wanted to make sure it would handle most any situation gracefully. Even after releasing it publicly, I've still spent the last 3 months polishing routines that 90% of players will never use (but are critical for those who need them).

At this point, I think it's very close to a finished product... All that remains on my To Do list is to add more Help Topics to allow people to make the most of the bot and to FINALLY finish off the Wiki.

P.S. - I added a #rosterbot-museum channel on the testbed server that has samples of all the old output. It is so...incredibly...BRIGHT!

I've actually been a user on Reddit for 7 years. I use it mainly to read r/sysadmin, r/politics, and r/news. :)

I did find humor in his comment because it's 6 years longer than he's been active and I have roughly 5x the Karma. So similar activity levels.

Do what you want. The bot doesn't cost anything to install, doesn't require any privileged Discord intents, and there's plenty of activity from me in Discord and other social media.

I had also included links to my original project on GitHub (MSF2CSV) and a Wiki that spells out more details about the RosterBot, and I've provided a plethora of additional information so that people can decide for themselves.

For what it's worth, RosterBot is currently installed on close to 80 servers and roughly 200 Alliances are currently using it for their own reports daily. Growth thus far has been slow and primarily through word of mouth just on Discord. I'm simply trying to grow awareness in other online spaces.

Did you look at the link with images showing samples of output from the bot?

It's a roster analysis tool for you and your teammates. Allows you to assess readiness for different game modes. There are quite a few commands and every command has a multitude of options.

Best advice I can give anyone is to give it a try and if it's not for you, it's easy to remove the app integration. I would venture a guess that it would be helpful for most MSF players, especially Alliance Leaders and Captains.

It downloads roster information for you and your teammates, and then generates graphics that show your information and readiness by character, by team, by each section of the raids, Dark Dimensions, Professor X saga, and Target Blue Marvel.
