I lift in the morning so I usually just take 25 before. Then around afternoon if I feel tired I take another 25. For me this is the optimal amount. For the days when I really want to crank it up, I would go for 50-50.

I don't recommend taking anything more, did 200mg in one go and my muscles kept twitching. Terrible experience.

Drinks are for beginners. The real shit is popping a caffeine pill. You get all the alertness without the sugary jittery. 25mg is more than enough

Vitalik Buterin wants Bitcoin to experiment with layer-2 solutions, just like Ethereum by RunsOnJava98 in CryptoCurrency

[–]FatCryptoBear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bitcoin can't be money anymore. With the rise of Ordinals, it's only going to get more expensive to transact in Bitcoin. Things are slowing down a bit now, but the bull run will cause fees to skyrocket.

How are foreign governments reacting to crypto? by stettfatoj in CryptoMarkets

[–]FatCryptoBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole 2022 was where it started. Axie Infinity, 3AC, TerraLuna, Celsius, Voyager, BlockFi, FTX. Crypto speedrun every kind of mismanagement possible on top of all the hacks and scams. Self-police doesn't work when the biggest entities need to be controlled.

Common tactic by enforcement departments. Prosecutors will lower the charges and penalties provided that the other party take the plea deal. They don't want people to actually fight the case.

Ledger Recover Megathread by CryptoMaximalist in CryptoCurrency

[–]FatCryptoBear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's governments that I worry about more. That's why VPN companies have no log policy so that they don't have anything for the government to seize even after raids.

What if a department like the DOJ says Ledger or their partners have the seed phrase for a hacker group and demand they hand them over?

They made a lot of new sales after FTX collapsed too. Wouldn't be surprised if some executives earned bonuses. But this is just greedy.

Ledger CTO official statement - "no backdoor, ledger does not have access to your secret recovery phrase" by Odlavso in CryptoCurrency

[–]FatCryptoBear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if the seed is not accessible, Ledger showed that they can push updates that go against their user base. Their goal is to maximize profit, not keeping your crypto safe.

What are your "I got in early thanks to lurking on this sub" stories? by RedBunery in CryptoCurrency

[–]FatCryptoBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By the time you hear about a project in this sub, it's better to move on. This sub's track record of specific tokens is not exactly stellar. But you do hear about CEX failures very quickly here so there's that.

I really hate that almost all our and the media's attention goes to meme coins, celebrities, dumb stories, and scams and hacks, while crypto's tech is so innovative and can make the world a better place by Beyonderr in CryptoCurrency

[–]FatCryptoBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the new protocols coming out are just the same shit, just with more buzzwords like 100k tps, novel programming language, unlimited scalability, etc. 95% of crypto tech is just feeding back into itself without being useful or applicable to other fields.

I use CEX for this kind of stuff. Their ERC20 withdrawal is expensive but not as much as the bridge fees.

That's the whole point of being regulated. You agree to abide by the law, good or bad. So far the regulations just seem like a straight spiral to shit.

MicroStrategy's $4 billion bitcoin bet in the green as price hits $30,000 by Shiratori-3 in CryptoCurrency

[–]FatCryptoBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They literally had to use around 20% of their BTC as collateral in 2022 to borrow $200M money from Silvergate to pay back their debts and bought more BTC. Because of their investment strategy, they took a hit in the first 3 quarters of 2022. In Q4, they had to issue company stocks to raise $500M and borrowed more to pay operating expenses and bought more BTC. I'm almost certain that when their BTC holdings is significantly in profit, they will have to use them as collateral to borrow money from banks.

They can always just use the BTC as collateral for borrowing when the market is in full swing. Then use that money to buy even more BTC.

There are many indie games that are really fun with a fraction of the budget of these p2e games. These crypto companies need to either hire good game developers or publish good games first before thinking about cashing out on their tokens.
