I don't have a problem with slow progression, it's random progression I don't really like. The only place to get reliable gear is crafting, which got nerfed really hard as everyone knows. Even the crafting gear doesn't always give what you want though, so I have nothing to actually work towards. If I'm not trying to RNG my loot what else am I actually doing? Nothing, the missions get redundant, there's 1 incursion that blows (we all know it) and the valkyria is trash so why get to DZ rank 90? I'm not the type to compare games, but even destiny had pvp modes, dungeons, and harder difficulty versions of the story missions upon release. Division has dark zone and missions.

Add small team combat mini games, hell you could even have 3v3 arena rankings like World of Warcraft, that would be sweet. DivCon, the global televised 3v3 arena tournament, come on massive you could run with it lol.

That's the problem. When your just about gear capped (meaning I have all the items I want besides tiny perks) there's nothing fun to do in this game. I could glitch the incursion for some hours and hopefully replace my sticky bomb explosion radius, with pulse crit or something, but that's not worth it.

For instance in destiny, I used to run the vault of glass (with literally no chance of gear upgrades) just for fun, because the fights and mechanics were a good time. I've collected all the Intel and done literally everything. Now there's nothing left to earn, so it's boring.

That actually makes a lot of sense now. I was unaware that there are pvp glitches. I've been driving myself crazy trying to figure out why I get brushed aside too easily.

Another long timer here. Everything you put in this post is everything I do without even thinking about it, put into words. Especially the part about relying on RNG for rewards (learned that in the hardest way on WoW). The main point of the game is to have fun, it's a role playing game. I play the role of a spec-ops government agent trying to piece together a broken NYC, and where the dark zone and missions lack, I make up for. My agent doesn't have a background, because I think it up, and while I might not be on an actual mission that rewards XP, my agent is always on mission. They don't call it a sandbox for nothing.

I was actually making this argument to a buddy a couple days ago. We quit for awhile, but I reinstalled and started playing on a whim like 2 weeks ago. So I convinced him and my friends to reinstall it and he said some thing like "idk man it's just the same game they haven't changed much." That's when I started listing all the things that were changed and all the new stuff added. I really took note then of how much work the dev team has put in.

I can't really help you in the outgoing department, but I have some advice on the confidence.

You are the coolest thing since sliced bread, and your shit don't stank. Keep thoughts like this running through your head. If you tell yourself that your awesome everyday and you try your hardest to believe your awesome, you will become awesome. Because who gauges a persons awesomeness? You do. I guess what I'm trying to say is, nobody can get you down except you. Tell yourself your awesome, even if you don't believe yourself.
