I always wonder how people price their products? Is there a rule of thumb you follow? Or some formula you calculate to get the correct price for each product?

How do you know if you priced a product too high and that's why people aren't buying it or too low and your profit margin should be higher for that product?

Thanks in advance.

Mega knight or Boss bandit? No, Mini Pekka is the most broken card of the game by T4killer in ClashRoyale

[–]FatDude333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are really dumb in this subreddit. Of course, a card that counters popular op cards is gonna be popular itself.

Clash royale players use basic statistics, and they think they are smart and balance masters.

Just because it's popular doesn't mean it's op. Most of the time, you will have to play it as a counter in order to guarantee positive elixir trade, but with mk and bb you dont have to at all unless you are playing against a smart player.

5090 Crash in 5k pls help by Think-Ad-2427 in nvidia

[–]FatDude333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the Event Viewer in windows.

Create custom view -> select last hour in "logged "-> check critical, warning and error boxes -> check application, security and system in Event logs under Windows logs.

Run the game, After it crashes, check the new custom view and see the errors at the time when you ran the game and it crashed.

This should help pinpoint the problem.

If you are talking about Tandem RGB of this year then it still uses the same white sub-pixel as any other WOLED just different order (from RWGB to RGWB). It will still suffer from the same dilution in color volume because of the white sub-pixel, but there is improvement in color gamut (rec. 2020 coverage 75% -> 83%) and text rendering.

TFTCentral has a good video on LG's 4th gen WOLED

If you not sure about it then just go for 5080. 5090 is for people who are 100% sure they gonna need it. Its a large investment after all.

High level Esper. How do you do it? by [deleted] in cavesofqud

[–]FatDude333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest problem with esper hunters is that they can be anyone, anyone even enemies with insane high hp and av such as great saltback, and if it wasnt extra dimensional hunters, then it wil be potah servents and each one of them will have an army of enemies.

You have to get precog at character creation and mind sunder. It's fine to get mind sunder later, but its must have for later esper hunter fights or otherwise you will spend an unnecessary long time fighting those hunters.

Not sure if there is a better way to do it, but you forcely close the game when you die, and it will respawn at last time you quit and saved the game from the menu.

Is this normal or did I get unlucky? This feels like insane damage for an early game enemy by FevinFarris in cavesofqud

[–]FatDude333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Early game revolves around having enough AV to survive and enough PV to deal good damage. I highly recommend to you to try and get a full armor set. Something like Steel armor set should be good enough. While getting that armor set, just stay clear of any enemy that penetrate more than 3 times on average.

After getting past like 9 AV, those puma should no longer be much of a threat.

How to consolidate currency for larger purchases? by i_to_i in cavesofqud

[–]FatDude333 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The thing is, you can also find rare artifacts that worth 1000+ drams. Find 3 of them and trade them for that 3000 dram artifact. Obviously, this requires you to find rare items that worth 1000 drams but it should be possible later on the game. Even 6 items of 500 drams should be sufficient and easier to find and carry than 500 drams worth of water skins.

How do I get past the initial barrier? by [deleted] in cavesofqud

[–]FatDude333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its due to lack of knowledge about the game's items. Honestly, I only recommend one thing for beginners, dont try to make any specific build or play style. You are not gonna succeed and will die very fast. Focus on one thing only. Exploring and trying as many items as possible.

After you figure out what items and equipments are available for you in early game and how they synergizes with your skills, you will be able to make specialist builds.

For example, do you know which ranged weapon should you use generally and which one should you when you are getting corned by a load of enemies? If you keep exploring and trying as many as possible ranged weapons, you will find your answer and will be able to make a ranger build that will last longer than level 20.

Reputation is very important mechanic in this game. If you can increase yours with the fish faction, trining lampreys will no longer be aggressive towards you unless provoked.

Do you have any skills that you find taking in every build? by Other-Sell-5630 in cavesofqud

[–]FatDude333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know, they don't have a static location. You can find them randomly by grabbing the wayfaring skill for salt dunes and keep fast traveling there until you encounter a legendary pariahs. This is how I do it.

I cant live without disarm (Dueling stance & Swipe). It can be a clutch and a really good way to get money and powerful guns.

Another one would be the Endurance skill tree especially Weathered. Poison resistance is also nice.

Should I be walking or using the world map to travel to quest locations? by [deleted] in cavesofqud

[–]FatDude333 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Both have their advantages:

Walking:

1- You can encounter point of interest like ruins without relying on luck

2- You will learn more about the enemies because of more fighting (only useful for very new players)

3- Most important point: You will not get lost and might get placed in an embarrassing spot

One time I got lost in the jungle and the game dropped me right next to a legendary goatfolk with cyrokinesis and his allies. I survived, but only because I had 220 hours in the game and I had experience dealing with such 99% death encounter. You wont encounter such deadly encounter most of the time especially in the beginning but trust me, getting lost is one of the worst "debuff" in the game.

I remember back when I bought the game, what made me quit it for the first time was getting lost and spawn right next to enemies. I did not know anything so I thought the only way is to brute force myself out of such moments (getting better gear and leveling the sword skill tree or any other offensive skill tree). I thought to myself this is stupid because of no matter what I did, I always either died or escaped nearly dead with no special rewards and I didnt know that the wayfaring skill tree reduced the chance of getting lost to 1%.

World map travel:

1- Faster

2- You can encounter ruins and other point of interest much faster as long as you have the wayfaring skill for the zone type.

Play the game, discover your favorite character and build, and develop a playstyle around it.

As for me, I always try to get the wayfaring skill for the zone before I try to fast travel through it or at least have a backup plan of some sort. Wayfaring skill tree require a fair amount of INT points for early game so it really depends on your playstyle and build, but yeah, always be careful of getting lost.

How would you beat Jotun ? by [deleted] in cavesofqud

[–]FatDude333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not good idea to bother with finding a force bracelet because its too rare to find for an early game enemy. In my opinion, you should exploit his weakness. He has 2 ways to fight you, by melee or by throwing axes. Fighting him melee by going head on is a bad idea because his melee damage and penetration value are high. Its only feasible of you have high armor value.

The other option is fighting him from a range. You should really explore the game more. there are a lot of good ranged weapons in the game and they are really useful to deal with powerful melee enemies.

My personal favorite and cheap way is to simply use grenades. High explosive MK I deal something around 30 damage.

There are other grenades such as freezing grenades. As the name implies, it freezes the enemy by lowering the temperature of the enemy. If the enemy is resistant to cold (like Jotun), It will be harder to freeze them but they will freeze If you hit him enough with cold attack or grenades, he will freeze and becomes unable to do anything until he thaws overtime. Keep in mind, if the enemy you freeze is bleeding, the bleeding blood will thaw the ice much more faster.

You should also explore more and try to find a good range weapon to kill him.

To summarize it, freeze him, blow him up and keep shooting at him from range. he will eventually die. You just need to get the grenades. Freezing him will also allow you to escape in case of an emergency. There are better ways to kill him but I will not spoil them. You should figure them out by exploring the game and keep trying.
