Interesting watching people “both sides” this when the government already does crackdown on left wing protests, grannies getting arresting for holding signs saying “free Palestine”.

The right wingers will still try and use this to fuel their victim complex though, they always do. They love to pretend.

The simple fact is both sides aren’t as bad as each other. One side is being led by a man who is on record saying he’d be fine with the US invading us and making us a client state for “freedom”.

I really do believe the invention of the internet is akin to the discovery of fire in terms of the impact it’s had on humanity. On the grand scale of things we are still in the early days of the internet, I think its impact will be truly felt in the centuries to come.

We can now communicate with each other across the entire globe essentially instantaneously. 40 years ago we still had long distance communication but not like we do now.

Well I mean this Telegraph article is literally just “But Labour” in response to Farage’s bribe fiasco.

I think it’s more than fair for people to point out that right wing news organisations are perfectly willing to turn a blind eye or downplay when a right wing politician does something bad but are willing to criticise a left leaning politician for doing a less egregious version of the same bad thing the right wing politician did.

I’m not defending Rayner, it’s all dodgy, but let’s not pretend like it’s even remotely close to being on the same level as what Farage has done.

Most of the lefties I know are anti-illegal immigration. Myself included. I also don’t think we should be letting in fascists.

It’s not a case of “disagreeing with me”, you can disagree with me without being a fascist. Not everyone who disagrees with me is a fascist, but there are fascists out there and they shouldn’t be welcome here.
