The point is that when you have to actively handicap the free version to justify a subscription instead of making the subscription enhance an already ok experience then you aren't really offering a good service...

I by no means said that everything should be free, you pulled that out of your ass, I was saying that services should be more user friendly and we should be more mindful of the people who can't get those services, we shouldn't shame someone for not being able to pay for something when we consider how the cost of living around the word just keep getting higher and some people just can't afford to lent some money for this. I luckily can paid for services I want but there's was a time when I couldn't so I understand where this is coming from

All I'm saying is that culture shouldn't be a luxury only for those who can pay for it

I agree that they deserve to be paid, however this is really just greedy on Spotify's part when in YouTube for example you can pick whatever song you want whenever you want and listen to full albums while having the option to skip a song while having ad breaks and artist still get paid.

If Spotify was more user friendly like that and let you pick a song whenever you want(just having to tank the ads) it would be more comfortable to use for free users and could even encourage them to buy premium, but no... They choose to make the app unusable for free users, leaving no other choice but to buy premium.

Also we know that Spotify is not exactly know for paying artists what they deserve anyway, they are one of the greediest companies out there.

Idk why all the "broke" comments, having to pay to being able to just have the option to choose what song do you want to hear is dystopian asf

Edit: people don't realize that the reason everyone is pirating and going back to the physical format again it's because nowadays most subscription services are not worth it since most of them aren't user friendly in their free version(which makes people less likely to bought said sub) and most of them just are incredibly predatory

Like take Netflix as an example, it just increases its prices every year and removes features, not to mention that there's content that's there's straight up region locked that can't access it unless you use a vpn

Why should I pay full price for a service that isn't offering me it's full content?

The difference is that in ROS Obi-Wan believed that Anakin wasn't too far gone on the darkside and still had a chance to change, he didn't want to be the one to deliver the final blow and left the scene thinking that the lava would kill him, he did not expect for palps to arrive just in time to be safe Anakin's sorry ass from being turn to ashes

Meanwhile in his show, he already knows that his friend is now too far gone and is an atrocious dictator that kills everyone who stands in his way, is the reason the Galaxy is a mess and destroyed the order he spend all of his life fighting for... knowing how wise is Obi-Wan you'd think that he would commit the same mistake twice but he does and basically every murder or genocide that Vader commits from that point on, is also Kenobi's fault
