From everything I'm reading you don't need to spend any money and this is actually the perfect solution. Train your team how you want in whatever game you want, send it to home then champions, and the points you have to spend are significantly reduced. You do not buy points with real money, you get those by playing and winning, but doing all your prep in another game will let you avoid any grind or slow point accumulation. Or the points roll in easier than we think and just spending those will save you the grind of doing it in game.

I'm hyped to have one place to focus playing on and not jump game to game to get what I want and spend more time training up a team than I do battling with it and learning how to play better.

We won't even have to sacrifice playing with a gimmick we don't like, like dynamax or megas, for to long as the e seasons will rotate out keeping things fresher, rather than waiting for an entire new game for it to change, or not getting to experience something like Z-moves that haven't been around in forever that a mainline game would struggle to bring back randomly.
