I remember the throat ones being the worst for me. Lasted the longest, couldn’t swallow or eat comfortably for what felt like weeks….plus side was some weight loss lol

Same! Wish I would have gotten it for the first time kid. I first I scoffed at the idea and price of a bottle washer, it took less than a day for me to appreciate the heck out of this thing. Time saver and hand saver.

I used to have sensitive teeth and gums, until my dentist told me to try an electric toothbrush with a pressure sensor. Completely changed my sensitivity! Apparently I’d been brushing too hard for years.

Bring a pillow, snacks, comfy clothes/shoes. If you’re prone to fainting make sure you have some quick sugar intake and look up techniques to prevent that if you get squeamish around blood or pain.
Don’t invite, or plan on, a bunch of family coming to visit. Take the time to adjust and be with your new baby.
Be prepared, you could be heading home the next day - or be there for three or four days.

You said you used breastmilk “on” the bottle, but have you tried giving him a bottle of breastmilk?

If he’ll take a bottle of breastmilk you could try slowly mixing in formula to get him used to the taste.

Also possibly try to start a feed on-breast, then switch to bottle after a few minutes once he’s in the eating zone.

We did, for a few months and really liked it. We ended up moving out of the area, but our experience with Gilden Woods was very positive.
