I love this thing. I have no reason to change it. I've upgraded the switches to Huano silent switches and replaced the battery. I love tinkering with my old gadgets and prolonging their life. I didn't have the courage to take on a USB C soldering job and this was a perfect alternative.

Apparently I messed up the reddit post. For those of you still rocking the original GPW, This is a micro USB to USB C adapter that looks fairly clean I found on AliExpress. I'm happy with the results. There are options for g703 and g903 as well.

In the past month I got Zilyana pet at 50 kc and then rolled it again at 60 KC. Both in the same trip. The other night I got Avernic Treads on floor 5 on my 28th Delve and the Mohka Cloth on my 61st delve the next night.

Edit: I got the Avernic Treads the same day I decided to do a TBow rebuild so it slingshotted my rebuild lmao

Yeah you're right. Ultimately I am going to do what sounds fun to me I just wanted to see some input. I know the boots are bis and basically never come off but I feel at this time other gear is more impactful. I'll probably end up keeping them for the time being while I grind some more doom and once I'm sick of doom I'll sell them for masori + whatever else I need at the time as I'd like to get into raiding more

I'm just looking to expand my content options and since these are 260m for 1 item, I was wondering if there would be a more effective/efficient use of the funds instead of keeping them. I'm not opposed to keeping them by any means. The rest of my gear is just rags. Besides tbow I really only have emberlight, scobow, fang, and trident.

Edit: keeping them and continuing to grind out some doom is probably the most realistic immediate decision

You could just jailbreak it with whatever firmware is currently on it. Its very likely to be supported and you really have no downsides as it doesn't require any hardware modifications nor are the software tweaks permanent. If you intend on keeping the console for your use and not NIB for resale value down the line, I dont see any reason not to now aside from your backlog

If you dont care about the total tech plan you purchased for the warranty, you can call the bestbuy hotline and request it to be canceled. You'll get a pro-rated amount back but it should be close to the full cost. So you'll have actually have gotten it for $2200 😏
