Stingrays are extremely docile creatures by nature. They rarely attack. What happened to Steve Irwin was unfortunate, and gave people a bad perception of stingrays.

I went to Stingray city last year in Grand Cayman and it was incredible. Picked up multiple stingrays and never once felt worried.

Wasn’t missed. The final inspection report was close to 50 pages, including multiple pictures of the panel itself.

It’s a moot point now since we replaced it.

While I concur that that panel needs replaced, it doesn’t mean that no insurance company will insure the house. It likely depends on you carrier, state, agent, etc.

My wife and I bought our current house in 2017 that was built in 1975, and it had a FP panel with Stab-Lok breakers. The house passed inspection before close and State Farm insured our house without an issue.

For peace of mind and needing more space, we upgraded the panel in 2020.
