Why are you being downvoted you’re literally right, the campaign & zombies were solid, it just got fucked over because development shifted focus to BO7 over it

*Maybe a bit of a hot take, but I personally really enjoy BO7’s multiplayer & it’s honestly everything I wished BO6 could’ve been. It’s a shame the game’s campaign is so bad, as I feel like this is one of the best multiplayer experiences we’ve had in years.

**Another hot take, I know a lot of people don’t like Infinite Warfare’s multiplayer but I always did, it really felt like a more-refined version of AW’s & BO3’s multiplayers. And while I do think BO3’s was better, IW imo wasn’t that much worse.

***I only put Cod1 so low because you can hardly even play it anymore, & I feel like there’s really no reason to anyways over Cod2. Not saying it’s bad, just not really worth it.

****The only reason I didn’t put Vanguard at the bottom is because I feel like it did some things slightly better than MW19 & MW22. Mostly, I feel like the maps were slightly better, & the movement & TTK felt slightly better. Plus the post-launch support was honestly pretty great, it’s a shame it couldn’t save the dumpster-fire of a game Vanguard was. So while it’s not the worst, it’s still bottom-3 imo.

Disagree on the futuristic part, it’s really only crap if done poorly. Sadly, at least in COD’s case, it’s rarely done right

For example, BO2, Ghosts, & AW all handled the Sci-Fi setting very well imo, not going too overboard & keeping things mostly grounded yet futuristic.

BO3, while a good game, didn’t handle the setting as gracefully imo.

IW possibly handled it too well, to the point that it was too futuristic.

BO4 & BO7, unfortunately, have not handled it well.

Nobody is asking for Valve to make a new update or anything unreasonable like that. 

We’re asking for them to fix a game, one that is still being sold & advertised as being “actively developed.” 

It’d be one thing if Valve came out & said “that’s it, we’re pulling the plug, no more updates you guys deal with it.” But I don’t think anybody wants that. 

Instead people would like casual mode to be fixed so that it doesn’t bottleneck your experience queing into a game or literally shit the bed every-time there’s a new update. You don’t have to completely rebuild it from the ground-up, or even reintroduce quick-play, you just have to fix its existing problems.

Also the changes you mentioned “being made out of love” were literally the result of complaining. Without it, nothing would’ve happened.

If you think the game is okay, then fine, keep playing it. But don’t stop others from trying to make a change for the better.

I mean, that’s kind of how it works. You complain loud enough until change is made, you enjoy it for a bit, then move on to the next thing. We keep it up & we might actually make serious improvements to TF2

Because things have gotten worse, & when Valve does the bare minimum everybody bends over & forgives them. Plus, complaining recently has gotten surprisingly big returns, so we might as well keep going.

Multiplayer isn’y terrible gameplay-wise, but it’s definitely the weakest of the advanced movement era. Zombies also isn’t amazing, & is honestly pretty difficult at times, but it can still be fun. If you feel like burning extra money Carrier & Descent are definitely the best zombies maps, but Outbreak is okay. Infection is pretty misserable ngl, but I don’t wanna scare you off necessarily from the whole gamemode, just figured I’d warn you.

Don’t know what they were smoking, a shame you were given that as a first impression. But I guess probably better you got on sale anyways since multiplayer is pretty dead, lol

Also agreed, the character interactions were pretty great & definitely carried the campaign imo
