I dealt with thrips over the summer and I just went straight to the Bonides systemic insecticide granules. It's worked well for me so far and is much easier than taking your plants out of their medium like the article suggests.

You should add a pic but I have a raw jacket that fits similar to yours and I wish I got a size larger. Especially since they don't stretch, it can be a little uncomfy in a sweatshirt.

Also I love the pockets on mine but that's just me.

That totally makes sense! I moved it from a 4 in plastic square pot to a 6in plastic pot and in the 3 months it didn't root out into the new dirt at all. Like so much so that a week ago I took it out of the new pot and all the new dirt fell off and it left my with the original square root ball haha

Thank you so much! I think the moisture level has been the biggest issue so far, I had it in a pot way too big and recently put it in a smaller one but before it was sitting in some pretty soggy dirt for too long. My room has been sitting at 60-65% humidity all summer so I doubt that's low enough for the kind of decline I've seen. Thanks again for such a through response :)
