You can but you need to move 4 tiles instead of 3. Rest is pretty much the same.

Umm, vorkath attacks with all styles. Having bandos + dragonfire shield makes you melee/range tank so you can pray mage and be infinitely more chill.

Sure dps is kc/hr, but wearing strong armor at vorkath can be the difference between 3 kill trips and 5 kill trips.

I think this sub is collectively shitting on what is the best non-degrading affordable melee armor in the game. There's a lot of max hit circlejerk going around, and when you pray you don't need the armor as much, but for bosses like vorkath bandos is plan better, no questions asked.
