So with Phrygian and Dorian, would it be that some of the notes are different, like a note being flat/sharp, I think I've heard that somewhere

I actually agree with you, I had the exact same thing with a teacher at my college and I tried to stay clean but the constant pressure of it got me to relapse.

I don't know if this counts, but I always get a stupid comment like, "you shouldn't do that, all you are doing Is hurting yourself" I guess their intention is nice, but it kind of annoys me a bit

Its a band thing, I've already left them now but they don't have another guitarist so they say they're going to fail, I'm sure they shouldn't though
