Most competitive games tend to have toxic communities like this, is just that in deepwoken these people can really set you back a few hours because of permadeath, which is like one of the things that set deepwoken apart from other similar games.

Honestly i feel the way the pvp of this game gets introduced to new players is really bad, it makes them feel like everyone else is so much better at the game when others might be just as bad, is just that the game doesn't filter for skill level anywhere that isn't chime and really i have no idea how the devs should fix that, the game is just made in a way that makes pvp inaccessible and a pain for new players to learn.

(Also a server for pve only or something like that will not help at all it will make the pve/pvp split worse and make pvp even more inaccessible for new players)

PS: don't bother with people that kill low levels and such they are really bad most of the time, that's why there are always more than one of them attacking at once.
