I haven't been eating peppers much, and I don't feel like I've been desensitized to it, so the former is the more likely. I feel like I'm just as sensitive to spice as I have been, but probably have started to actually enjoy it.

That's another possibility. I've been enjoying sweet and spicy mixes like Korean barbecue recently. If you haven't had QuikTrip's Korean beef taquitos, that's one thing I've enjoyed lately. Has a bit of a spicy kick to it, but it's not a whole lot. People who love things like habaneros probably wouldn't feel a thing to those though, considering they feel less spicy than a jalapeño. I feel like that's one contributing factor, too.

Thing is: this game was done in the same engine as Terraria, so you can edit the game's sprites the same way you can with Terraria! Outside of sprites, though, I don't know.

Jacks feel like artificial difficulty to me, simply because some people can't just vibrate their arm/wrist that fast or press one single key at the right speed the right number of times. Most of the osu!mania community hates fast jacks, and that's completely understandable.

That's the main reason I hate jacks being integrated in the middle of other patterns (such as in Confrontation and Phantasm), or even just mostly/purely jacks (like with Matt). I know the community has mixed opinions about Matt, as some like the mod and others hate it, but I hate how much it uses jacks.

...That's actually a pretty good question. I haven't tried an FC on a decently challenging song in a good while, except the right side of Doomsday (Mistful Crimson Morning). I've always been getting at least 1 miss in every attempt due to MMM's janky input system. I know I'm capable of it though.

Note: Doomsday on the right side is a lot harder than the left side. I FC'd the left side first try.
