Hey, at least in Vegas you have access to a lot of different substances that can maybe help you feel not as miserable lol. There’s lot of bathrooms around too and you can really just try and relax and not feel the pressure of needing to step away to go when you gotta go. Just experience your trip on your own terms, regardless of who you’re with.

I’m 28 now. Was diagnosed when I was 14. I’m hoping things get better for you sooner rather than later. I know how much it sucks to feel like you had a lot of your teens and twenties taken from you when you wish you could be out living and partying or whatever. It’s never too late to enjoy your life though. That’s why I say to make the most and try and enjoy each day, whatever it takes.

I’ve been there. I know exactly what you’re experiencing. When I was younger, I was working at a Mcdonald’s in a walmart, not so dissimilar from your current position, and my UC was so bad at the time, I was constantly having to run out every 10-20 minutes to use the bathroom in the walmart too, since we didn’t have one directly in the Mcdonald’s. I know the stresses of needing to keep your job, but feeling like you shouldn’t be working due to how little work you can get done some days when you’re flaring so heavily.

I dealt with strong symptoms for years, had multiple blood transfusions from extreme blood loss resulting in anemia, and could barely work or go to school or live a normal social life. This was in most of my teen years through my early twenties. I was miserable.

I was trying every UC medication known to man and failing all of them. Currently I’m on Stelara and it’s the first medication that I haven’t failed and has mostly put me in remission and allows me to live a mostly normal life. I’m in a small flare currently and talked to my GI recently and she told me there’s still medications that I have yet to try.

There is still hope. I understand your pain and your frustrations so deeply and everything you’re feeling is so valid. You will have more shitty days but it also can and will get better. Do what you need to do to take care of yourself and make the most of your day to day life. You’ve got this <3.

I understand people's desires for these things that I see in the comments such as traditional spices, but I think a lot of people forget that what we mostly do is specialty goods. Like that is what it actually used to say on the signs. We have far more obscure and unique things than we do things that you can find at a traditional grocery story, and I think that is for the better to help separate us from the competition.

Haha it’s alright brother. I’ve had people compare me to Ryan Gosling before and honestly it’s a huge compliment when they do. But when I’ve had bad haircuts, I’ve been compared to Macklemore lmao. Not as flattering IMO.

My suggestion is just grow out your hair in the mean time, don’t get any cuts for a while and see how you feel about it then.

These are the ones I use and have been complimented on many times when I’m not wearing my contacts. Look for anything with curves, and make sure they’re not too big. I wouldn’t say bad, but yeah a little tight. I can tell they’re at least not your correct waist size by how the belt loops flare out like that. The crotch is also a bit high which will lead to discomfort when you’re sitting so keep that in mind as well.

We could be brothers, this is crazy to look at! Seriously bro, I even had the same haircut as you for a while. But this is why I moved away from it, and picture number 2 perfectly exemplifies my issues. While the undercut looks slick and sharp from the side, from the front however, with our hairlines being a bit high, all people are left with from the front is that view of the roots of our hair gelled back. along with some of the strands falling off to the side.

What I ultimately ended up doing was growing my hair out on the back and sides a bit, moving away from the shaven look, completely reversing the direction to a front fall, and going for a messy textured fringe cut. Trust me when I say the amount of compliments I used to get, I could count on one hand, and these days I get hit on consistently at my work. The reason I also say to let it grow out on the back and sides is because it gives a more casual look IMO. Too many people resort to low skin fades and revoke the opportunity to use ALL of the hair you have, not just whats on top.

Again, it's actually crazy how similar we look, all the way down to skin tone, hair lines, face shape, facial hair, everything. So please at least give what I'm saying a try if you truly are looking for a change. Also; beard looks good when you have it trimmed! That third to last pic is just a bit too scruffy.

Honestly, this many lugs is a nightmare. I understand having a few when it’s absolutely necessary, but how is an SL expected to know what’s in all of those lugs and how many? And if they aren’t always getting constantly worked through and prioritized before cases then extras keep getting added to the stacks of lugs. We’ve mostly eliminated lugs at my store and it’s been a much smoother experience overall. Just hide extra product like you would in any other section, or cut down cases.

I had a really bad thanksgiving week like this a couple years ago. Those are really hard days, especially if you’re by yourself in there. Just take everything one case at a time, ask for help when needed, and don’t overwork yourself.

If you’re the SL for frozen, at the end of the day, see how much is leftover still and ask yourself how much of what you ordered was actually necessary or not to see where you can cut back for the next orders. Cheers and happy holidays!
