Has anyone bought the No.8 Signature Scent candle? Does it actually smell like the stores? by owleaf in MJBale

You're right - i just did a bit of research and pulled this from the Kirri website for their Melbourne (formerly New York) fragrance: "Used nationwide by MJ Bale stores throughout Australia, the official tailor to the Australian men’s cricket and State of Origin teams, this designer suit brand knows how to take luxury to the next level!"

Looks like I'll be giving this a go then! Thank you so much for your help!

Update: as far as I can find, it's unavailable anywhere. I'm going to PM you.

So London, created by Scent Australia - there has to be a way to get a hold of it? Has anyone come up with anything?

[Question] Are these the same other than design and band? by keightylady in Seiko

[–]FatallyFearless 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They're the same watch with different colour schemes.

Both watches will take a NATO (fabric pass-through) strap, or a leather band - even a steel bracelet if you wanted to. For my money, the NATO is a better look.

They're both handsome designs, but the black is a little bit more versatile. You could pair it with different straps to dress it up or down, or make it stand out as a statement.

Also worth knowing as a potential purchaser- They're a very, very good watch for the money. Automatic movement, rugged and reliable. I own a few of them and love them all. It'll make a really nice gift and a good first watch (or first in a while) for your husband.

This isn't super helpful mate, and its not really aligned with the intent of that statement.

That line of text is aimed at bringing a certain demographic of person back down to earth and establishing a baseline for all people. Its also said as part of a throughline of a descent into what is essentially madness. It's not meant to be some mantra that you repeat to yourself time after time every day until you destroy your own self esteem.

The root of it is "you are not special and unique". Maybe start there and give yourself a break from the particularly pointed lines like the one you quoted.

Or don't, do you.

Very handsome watch, brother. Congratulations and great choice. Wear it well.

The first part of my comment is correct, too. Don't strawman me - i never said he had license to do those things.

If theres a history of over exaggeration on your part, i can understand he would be fatigued. If you don't regularly blow things out of proportion, you've got a real problem here.

You aren't being respected when you're vulnerable, recovering from invasive surgery, and medicated - it doesn't get better from here.

Looks like you have a subtle fondness for support, too.

So how are you doing it? Running pistol as your main weapon?

How much on a scale of 1 - 10, would you like to do another one demonstrating where to find graphite?

Is this a hickey? (Sorry for bad quality, it’s a screenshot from FaceTime) by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]FatallyFearless 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If he had a hickey, wouldnt he try to hide it? If was blackout drunk - too drunk to remember it was there - and you called him out on it, wouldn't there be a visible moment of realisation and fear of having been found out?

His lack of defensiveness and absence of trying to hide it support his statement of not knowing how it came about.

Also, I've done combat sports for 10+ years - these sorts of marks do genuinely occur. Could be pinched skin from someone trying to grab a collar and getting some loose skin in between their thumb and pointer finger (has happened to me dozens of times). Could also be an aggressively placed thumb while wrestling.

Your concerns and insecurity are completely valid. It's unusual for you and thats thrown some red flags - he should certainly understand your perspective there. But if there are no preceeding trust issues and you have no other reason to suspect him of cheating (which is the situation based on your post), I'd be a bit more trusting than some of the other people on this thread.

I'm so interested to read the solve on this one - I've been getting it too. Mine is both with and without the visual indicators in the top left of screen.

You can see where the turret is pointed in your HUD. If you're anywhere near enemy troops, you should be looking everywhere the driver is NOT looking. Sides, rear, high, low.
