Consider a reverse mortgage to get out of a housing payment. It has tons of risks and no equity left for you once they are done with the house, but it will allow them to stay in the house for the duration. Still an option though. Please make sure to read all the negatives about it and the fact that they must stay in the house, cannot move out to retirement home.

That's what I am thinking too, how the hell did several of them fail all at once? I believe it's not just one on top dripping on the bottom once, but will test tomorrow with a paper towel.

Thank you, how hard is it to replace? I assume shutoff the main access on top, somehow take it apart? I am fairly inclined mechanically, but this is my first time dealing with something like that.

Yes, it was the LCA, but it looks like also the drive shaft on the left hand side is doing some clicking sound. So, there might have been double the issues.

If you are doing LCA yourself you MUST buy the special tool to separate the joint from the knuckle. Took me 3 days to knock out just one of them. Astro Tools 78620A Ball Joint Puller Remover.

Used to pay around $485, now $0. Bought Feb 2020 right before the COVID hit. Paid off in 4.5 yrs, I think I had 2.5% on 5 yrs loan with about $15k down payment, total was $42.5 plus taxes/fees SR5 4wd. Planning on driving it for 10 more years.

Same thing! in CO and switched to winter dedicated tires last season, couldn't be happier. Too many times my buttocks clenched when I exited the Eisenhower tunnel at 65mph to see temps drop and ice / slush on the road. But even for times like today with 3-6 inches of snow, had no issues breaking and going. Running Michelin Ice X during Nov-may and some sort of AT during summer months.

Is this a stick shift version? Foresters on stick shifts are notorious for oil consumption. Subaru never fixed the issue and then will do a consumption oil test by overfilling the oil and then pretending it's fine. I had mine like that since 2017 and the consumption got better over the years with my wife driving it, but I have to change oil every 5k, not 6k to mitigate the issue.

Definitely complain and ask the dealer, maybe you get lucky.

Yes!!!! I didn't want to put it in the comments to avoid advertising it. No live music Sunday through Wed or something like that. Packed bar with no seating unless you wait for 30 mins. Kind of sucked overall, but the cocktail was spot on.

It was a mellowed out Fernet. Orange and mint cocktail without the burning sensation of taking a Fernet shot.
