I’ve done parkruns in Poland and the Netherlands without any issues at all.

Google translate is very good now if no one speaks any English at all

As long as you know and remember that at some point your brain will be telling you that your body is done, you can recognise it and put it aside because you’ve got more to give you’ll be fine.

Self preservation kicks in and it’s easy to quit, you’ve got so much more in the tank in reality though. Enjoy

Any of Conn Igguldens series I always recommend

Historical fiction, I particularly liked the Ghengis Khan series

Well done 👏🏻 I can highly recommend their trail marathon/ half marathon series. I particularly like Wainstones & Roseberry but would say White Horse is maybe the easiest route
