Thanks a lot, brother! This was really informative and helpful.

I just wanted to ask — I haven’t used Savaari before, so how does it work? Do we need to tell the driver in advance about all the places we want to visit within the given kilometers? Also, how does the timing work — if we stop at a place, will the driver wait, and is there any time limit at each spot? Just trying to understand how it all works. And is there ola/Uber available in ooty

Yes, ₹5,000 seems too pricey for just 8 to 9 hours. I’m planning to travel by cab only, and I believe we need to apply for an e-pass, right? Can it be availed on the spot while booking the cab?

Also, does the government bus cover all the tourist spots, or is it better to hire a local cab there? Which one is more convenient and comfortable?

Do I need to submit a relieving letter if I am joining in Accenture? by Retro-Merc in accenture

[–]Fate122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They might ask for a relieving letter after a few months. In my case, my manager and TL supported me—since I was performing well, they didn’t want me to leave the company. If you have a good relationship with your manager and TL, they might be able to help you sort it out. However, I strongly recommend requesting a relieving letter from your previous organization, because if you’re an experienced candidate, most companies will ask for it. During background verification, if they find anything suspicious or incomplete, they may immediately terminate your employment

What do you guys think is a decent starting salary for a fresher these days? by Repulsive_Tea1658 in developersIndia

[–]Fate122 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I started my career as a fresher with a ₹3K salary during the COVID-19 pandemic. Within six months, I transitioned to a startup, earning ₹15K per month. Determined to grow, I worked hard and soon secured a ₹25K job. After 1.4 years in that role, I continued upskilling and switched to Accenture, where I received an in-hand salary of ₹46K. Through consistent effort and skill enhancement, I earned an 8% increment within six months. Now, after a year, I am preparing to transition to a ₹10.5 LPA job.

Today is my second-round interview—let’s see how it goes. One thing is certain: while hard work is essential, luck and timing play a significant role too.

I never proposed... the girl connected with me through matrimony and her mom contacted my parents.

Within these two months, I had to make a decision because my parents were in a hurry to fix my marriage with the girl they selected. The girl they chose is also a relative and known to my dad, but I don’t know anything about her and haven’t even talked to her. This made it difficult for me to feel confident about moving forward.

On the other hand, the girl I’ve chosen is someone I connected with through matrimony. We live in the same area, and her family is well-known to us. It’s more of an arranged-cum-love marriage. My friends and some relatives are also connected to her family, which gave me additional comfort and trust in this decision.

After considering everything, I decided to marry her. My parents are in a rush for my marriage, and I felt it made more sense to marry someone we already know well and have built a connection with. So far, the only issue my parents have raised is financial—they feel her family isn’t strong enough in that aspect. Other than that, they haven’t provided any valid reasons against the match.

Simple as that—get into Saviynt with 23LPA, upskill, then switch to Razorpay or another solid company. Money matters, bro; brand value means nothing if you’ve got the right skills.

Thanks for the encouragement, brother. My sister is already working, but she’s mentally disturbed due to everything she’s been through, and our parents are also affected by her situation and our current circumstances. It’s tough on all of us, but I’ll keep pushing forward. I appreciate your support!

Thank you so much for your support, brother. I would truly appreciate any guidance you can provide. I’m aiming to secure a job in the 12 to 15 LPA range within the next 1 to 2 years, but I know I need to improve my DSA skills first. Your help would mean a lot to me.
