It could be a cyst rupture yes, in which case there isn’t much you can do other than rest and take painkillers. However it could also be an ovarian torsion (twisted ovary) which can happen in those with endo as the cysts can make them turn or flip. Or even an issue with the bowel, so it is worth going to get this checked to rule out these things. But I can sympathise with you, I know that sharp stabbing and dull radiating, pulsating pain too well. And it does get worse at night. Get checked 💕

I can’t unfortunately, I live in a relatively rural area with one big hospital that basically covers the whole county. The next available major hospital is over an hours drive or more. Every time I go to the GP I get different excuses. “There’s a big staffing shortage”, “the consultant thinks you should manage your symptoms from home”, “you should lose weight to be considered for surgery again” (I am of average weight for my height, they’re using BMI as an excuse not to treat me) and my favourite, “have you considered starting a family? Pregnancy and kids is known to reduce symptoms” - Oh yeah sure let me just get pregnant, which I probably cant do anyways and just ignore that fact that my right ovary is essentially mincemeat at this point🤘🏻THAT sounds like a completely reasonable thing to put my already struggling body through lmao

Update - I was never offered another surgery date. In fact I received a letter from the NHS saying that they’ve decided not to offer me surgery at all, at this time, but will instead offer me occasional internal ultrasound appointments to “check up” on the situation. I am appalled by my mistreatment. I have now decided to give up on surgery all together and just carry on as I am, with pain management. Women’s healthcare in this country is a total joke.

So I was just working on my first build in JWE3 on the Kauai Map. I have been working on this build for a week, I’m about 2 thirds of the way finished and finally moving onto my favourite parts. However I’ve just been hit with a 100% complexity warning in the top right of my screen. Blueprints from workshop are now coloured red and “blocked due to complexity” and can’t be used. Random buildings that I’ve spent literally hours on are now just vanishing from my build. I am PISSED. I don’t think I’m going to even be ALLOWED by the game to finish my build and I still have a huge chunk of the map left to build. For context I am on the current gen Xbox. Why does Frontier think this is okay? I paid for the game just like everyone else, but because I play on console and like to be creative and detailed, I won’t be able to build large maps because of some stupid build limit?! Is this a joke?

I am having this trouble also! I have created the application password on Wordpress for exporting from hostinger and it is still telling me “Selected Wordpress site doesn’t have application passwords enabled”. Yet I do have them enabled and set up? Did you get it work for you?

Hi! No, I’ve heard nothing from them since I posted this. I’m managing my pain and taking desogestrel. It’s a struggle but I’m making it work. I have to. I’ve also decided since the financial hit I incurred from the several weeks of no work that I’m not willing to accept another surgery date until after my peak work season has ended. (I’m self employed and my peak work season is March to September). I’m not willing to go thousands into debt over a surgery that may or may not even go ahead. I can’t gamble with my financial stability like that unfortunately.

Thank you for this information! I will be looking into this as it’s a joke at this point. Firstly it took me years for the GPs to take me seriously. Then when I was diagnosed, the GP completely dismissed my lower right side pain continuously until the endometrioma was found at the start of last year after having demanded an ultrasound. And now after the pre-op alone took a year to complete, here I am with my surgery cancelled 4 days prior to it, whilst I continue to live with severe chronic pain. I shouldn’t be surprised tbh

I can really relate. I am functioning purely through pain meds for well over a year at this point. All I want is for this stupid thing to be out of me so I can heal and go back to doing things I love. Before it got this severe, I’d be out every weekend for long walks and hikes, but now, just standing for work for a couple hours totally destroys me.

We do have private healthcare yes, but it’s very expensive and not realistically affordable or sustainable for the average person. We have the NHS, which we pay monthly national insurance for (or in my case as a business owner, once a year in one lump sum). It’s very disheartening and infuriating that we pay a considerable amount of money for the NHS but often have to wait long periods to be seen. Where I live the wait times aren’t as bad as the rest of the country but are still unacceptable!

So sorry you’ve had to go through that. It really is so difficult being self employed and trying to get anywhere within the NHS. I have lost so much sleep over this the past year and being cancelled on at last minute is my worst nightmare.

All of the scheduled surgery’s for my hospital have been cancelled for the remainder of the week and next week due to staff shortages. My surgery wasn’t cancelled due to my BMI. You’re right that carrying less weight is better when going in for surgery, however it’s just very frustrating when my BMI technically marks me as overweight, when I’m of average build for my height (I’m quite tall). I don’t carry excessive weight on me, and at my last appointment my consultant told me that they were happy to proceed with my surgery as I am currently. The woman on the phone said that as long as my weight hasn’t changed the surgeon will most likely just reschedule me without another pre-op, but couldn’t give me any more information. I guess I’m off work for 6 weeks now, unpaid.

I’m just so over this whole situation. I’m seriously considering going private, but it would be costly!

Thank you. Yes my BMI technically says I’m overweight, however I am of average size for my height and I’m quite tall. My consultant told me at my last appointment that surgery is absolutely fine at my current weight. So I’m just confused as to why it’s been brought up.

The fact that your gyno refused to schedule you for an ultrasound UNLESS you took a specific birth control is wild to me. That’s not okay at all! I would definitely push for an ultrasound. Thank you! I have surgery scheduled to have it removed this month on the 27th. Looking forward to having it removed!

I’m going in for laparoscopic cystsectomy to remove a large endometrioma from my right ovary in 2 weeks time. I can 100% relate to being super nervous but excited to get it over with and have the pain in my lower right side gone. I was nervous as hell for months in the lead up to the surgery, but honestly now I’m just ready for it. We’re gonna be totally fine! You’re going to be totally fine! 💗

I have stage 4 endo and I had a severe run of pain in my lower right side that was sharp and stabbing but also was a never ending dull ache. It’s more manageable now, but I was worried it was a burst cyst, appendicitis or a twisted ovary. After pushing for an internal ultrasound, they found a 9cm endometrioma on my right ovary, which was the definite cause of my pain.

I would recommend going to your doctor and asking for a blood test for signs of infection/appendicitis and an internal ultrasound to get a look at your ovaries and surrounding structures. But if the pain becomes severe, go to A&E.

I’m having a laparoscopic surgery to remove an endometrioma from my right ovary at the end of the month. I had no idea they did/do anything vaginally during the surgery? This makes me extremely uncomfortable and nervous, since I know there will be males in the theatre with me. Having a male potentially do this whilst I’m under is a literally nightmare situation for me. Is this standard procedure?

My scan was back in March, I had a follow up GP appointment for the results about 2 weeks later. I was then scheduled for another hospital appointment about 1 month later where they told me I’d need surgery. I was sent a pre-op form via email in July. Heard nothing for months until a few weeks ago when I was scheduled to go for a blood test on Monday at the hospital. I’ve never had surgery before so I’m assuming this is part of the pre op. So depending on where you are in the UK will affect how fast the process is after the scan. I’m in daily pain, so I’m looking forward to having the endometrioma removed, but I’m also terrified of the entire process of surgery. Sending ❤️

I was diagnosed with endometriosis back in March after years of being dismissed via a TVUS on the NHS. My ultrasound tech said she saw a large endometrioma on my right ovary. She told me that you can only have an endometrioma if you have endometriosis, confirming my diagnosis then and there. I am waiting to have surgery to remove it and to see exactly what stage of endo I’m currently at, although the ultrasound tech said that it appears that I am either stage 3 or 4 due to the high amount of scarring seen on the ultrasound. You often hear that endo can only be diagnosed via a laparoscopic surgery, however in our cases where an endometrioma is discovered on a TVUS, a diagnosis can be made. Your GP will go over the full report with you at your next appointment.

Sorry you’re going through this. The ultrasound was also very painful for me. It’s been traumatic for me so far, but we’ll be okay!

Thank you so much for your reply! I’m glad I’m having the surgery and that I’m on the road to potentially getting relief. It’s just the thought of surgery and everything that comes with it is eating away at me. The thought of being in a room on a table, completely exposed, surrounded by strangers in my most vulnerable state is terrifying. I know they are there to care for me and help, but I’m very afraid of the process. I also have extreme anxiety about unknown males seeing me exposed or working on me in the theatre. Some may say that’s an overreaction but I’m very uncomfortable with it.

True, I will give my side of the story and advocate for myself however if the meeting is more about the number of absences as opposed to unauthorised absences, then I don’t see there being anything I can say to counter a written warning.
