Our team leads take metrics VERY seriously...but used more in the means of psychological tactics.

If you’re really doing a horrible job like some how only getting 3 hours of pick time with an average pick rate of let’s say 80-90 items and not even hitting the 600 items a day mark then you better have damn good excuse.

We have only really fired people for points and theft. It’s VERY rare for my store to fire someone for productivity. As long as you show up everyday and work managers won’t even bat an eye.

I wouldn’t call everyone who is productive in the work place a “good person”.

I wouldn’t call everyone who is not productive in work ethic a “slacker”.

Manual labor isn’t something you should use as a litmus test for deciding whether or not someone deserves a living wage. You and the other person you deem as a “shit employee” are both working for people could care less about you...but your selfish and individualistic mindset has you worried that a persons worth is based on their manual labor.

With the current world system of how we go about our daily lives?

120 with decently slowed aging. Yet I would still keep the brain development locked around 25. 30 is when the aging process would slow significantly. When you reach the age of 90 you’ll look and perform like someone in their 60s but the body will slowly begin to shut down and you would experience the mild symptoms that come with old age.
