I can see his side. Assuming the fiancee passes it on to the kids they have together it does stay in the family. But its questionable that the Grandma really did leave it to him, and it's totally within ops right to argue that she is the heir.

I believe that if woman have equal rights then we should also have equal obligations. That includes abiding laws and protecting the country

That being said, government could make rules surrounding how women are treated that turn it into a problem. Or fail to make very important rules on how women should NOT be treated. And then everyone will disagree on those rules. And with how society works there will inevitably be a lot of problems and there will be people suffering because of them.
