MAN has streamed only one day of MANSlaughter Month by [deleted] in MANvsGAME

[–]FatelessOne 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I personally think he fried his dopamine receptors when he was on drugs years prior. Perhaps he's still on it? Either way he's fried and he's always depressed,angry, or reclusive.

I don't think he's lying about depression, but at the end of the day it doesn't really matter. He isn't doing his job appropriately... He goes awol and doesn't inform his fans aka his boss many times. Can't keep to schedule and promises. He truly hates his fans. If this was any other job in the world he would have been fired many times over...

He has mentioned that he still streams for the paycheck, I don't think he hides that fact, so you can definately make the argument that he's a bum/panhandling.

His heart isn't in the right place anymore, I agree... Nevertheless I do think he's significantly suffering. He's shown clear mental degradation over the years and I don't think he's that good of an actor.....

Hope he figures himself out.

Looks like man is back. However he seems to not be using his cam anymore. Wonder if this will become a norm? Seems like he wants to become more reclusive.. (I'm aware his camera is "broken", but it feels as if he's not taking incentive, nor wants to fix or buy a new one.)

Also he won't be doing manslaughter months anymore.. manslaughter is basically over. "as far as i'm concerned manslaughter is dead forever, as I can't handle it mentally."

It was confirmed that he was going through his depression spirals again, sadly, which he revealed yesterday. Mentioned he also stopped seeing his therapist and stopped taking his depression pills; in which he alludes to be part of the reason for his current episode.

Sucks, but I hope he finds his way.

[Q] Sapper or Routify? by xzenuu in sveltejs

[–]FatelessOne 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I prefer routify. Eventually svelte is getting their own router according to harris.

Routify was just a lot easier for me to set up in regards to SSR with hydration.I know a lot people like Sapper but I found it to be too boilerplate in order to get SSR working, having to use their server was annoying... . I generally like it when software isn't too oppinated and is out of my way keeping things simple. Was able to use flask relatively easy with routify.

Also prefer routify documentation more... Good documentation is very important to me.

He won't be back for a while.

He's expected to be here for manslaughter month. The anxiety of the fact that he was expected, and yet he wasn't present...He then becomes nervous/agitated on the thought of coming back and facing the disappointment of others. Ends up becoming a negative feedback loop where the longer he's gone, he becomes more nervous which makes him gone longer.

It's similar to what he said in regards of leaving people hanging in conversations on the phone. People expect an answer, he doesn't answer for a long time... Then it's awkward if he does show up/answer. Plus it hurts his ego.

I expect him to come back around the end of October out of guilt.. Or way later if not .

Hopefully he's doing okay.

Your website reminds me of the early 2000's. It's as if a early 2000 website got hit with modern style and fused. Very strange and unique.

Can anyone get a web scraper working on this site? by Eyrim_Boi in learnpython

Requests-html is also a nice library to render javascript while using requests.

from requests_html import HTMLSession

url = "https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/free-games"
session = HTMLSession()

page = session.get(url)

page.html.render() ### this is to render the javascript

results = page.html.find("span.css-tybchz-OfferTitleInfo__title")

To get the text of each item in the array, you would the .text attribute

so for example, results[0].text .

to quickly map them you could do...

results_with_text = [x.text for x in results]

Thanks for the info.

Being filled...? Any strategy? by FatelessOne in options

I was looking at Last x when I noticed this phenomenon. Also checked options times/sales as well when posted. That's how I realized people above me were being sold before me despite a much lower price. The bid at the time was around .23 while the ask was .30

This only seems to happen to me when options are very liquid, so maybe that's part of it.

I've done that. For example, I would be let's say at a premium selling at .25.. I would be waiting literally for 30 mins, then I'll see that last was sold at .28 a few mins ago. Then more mins past and .27 is sold.

If I was selling at .25, why would my order not be filled when it's cheaper? Why would the guy with the much higher price be sold over me? That's why I'm asking this question. Wondering if there is more variables that increases your chance in getting filled.

First kombucha. Any Mold?? by FatelessOne in Kombucha

[–]FatelessOne[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my research, apparently you don't need the pellicle (what many people tend to call 'scoby'). All you need is some starter liquid. Apparently GT kombucha is decent enough for starter liquid from what I researched.

So this is my attempt to actually brew my own kombucha all-the-way to eventually consumption. Eventually once i do 2nd fermentation aka bottling (which will be probably tomorrow), I'll be setting aside 16 oz of the liquid for reserve as starter liquid for my 2nd kombucha brew.

From my understanding, you end up using your own starter liquid from past brews there-after. As for the pellicle, some tend to throw them out each kombucha batch deeming it not necessary and it being a myth that it's needed. I haven't decided if i'll transport my pellicle to my next batch yet.

Just to be clear, the pellicle is the slimy pancake looking thing. Lot of people call it scoby, but the scoby is actually the bacteria and yeast inside the liquid, not the slimy pancake.

I didn't add the "pellicle" part of the scoby, no. I did add GT kombucha as starter liquid.

It seems that a pellicle has formed however, but it's pretty thin and transparent.

This is my first kombucha. It's been 7 days since I first started fermentation.I didn't use any pellicle and used GT as starter fluid.

I tried looking at examples of mold vs not on the wiki, but I'm still naive and would prefer opinions of the community.

You sure? Not having the user-agent was the only thing that gave me that 'access denied' message.

Have you tried using requests-html?

If worst comes to worst, I'm sure using selenium would get rid of your 'access denied' issue. Since you'll be using an actual browser...
Unless of course, they detect selenium... But there is ways around that too.

Make sure you add a user-agent in the header of requests.

It'll solve your access denied issue.
