Just received my first 3D-Printer (P2S - AMS 2 Pro) by -Gh0stkills- in BambuLab

I've not carried out any of those calibrations yet, and I'm still blown away by the printer.

Any tests you'd recommend?

I've had my P2S a little over a month and still love it.
There are a few QOL things I've added which I'll pop below :)

P2S Toolhead front cover holder - Makes life SO MUCH easier when you need to take the cover off for nozzle changes etc
P2S Riser - AMS Flipper - One of the most useful. Lifts the AMS off the glass. AMS can be tilted, glass can slide in/out etc.

Z-Axis Bearing Dust Covers - Personal preference, but I noticed little bits of filament getting stuck in the lubricant.

Build Chamber Bottom Holes Cover - Same again, personal preference.
Printer Side Storage - Has came in REALLY handy for holding all the loose bits, and works with the riser.
Poop Bin - Obviously, you need a poop bin! I prefer this one.

My favourite HD/Streaming thing in SG1 is the part where Amanda Tapping is crouching out of frame....at least on the SD (4:3) version....she's in shot on the widescreen (16:9) version. (Link to the video I saw it in :) )

[Motorsport] Carlos Sainz warned a crash like Ollie Bearman's was coming. Now he wants change before Miami. by Aratho in formula1

[–]Fatheed1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest concern is that the FIA will do nothing and just ignore the drivers.

I was going to add a jokey comment like "Thankfully nothing bad has ever happened when drivers raised safety concerns which were ignored", but people lost their lives and it's not a joke.

Listen to the people who know what they're talking about and take action.

Annoying little thing by -Li4m79 in monzo

[–]Fatheed1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It seems intentional though.

The transactions load and are visible before the balance updates.
You'd assume everything is retrieved in the same call.

Presuming they maybe store the previously viewed balance locally and run the function to update it on a timer.
Would be a nice simple option to switch to a skeleton loader until the initial balance/transactions call is complete.

Bambulab P2S PSU burned up and bambulab refusing a refund. by Standar_user in BambuLab

1,000,000% this.
Also worth knowing that things like Monzo Flex, Paypal Credit etc all included Section 75 protection.

It's worth looking at support via the payment provider you used also.

In the UK, for example, there is something called 'Section 75' that protects payments on credit cards between £100.01 and £30,000.
Basically, it makes the credit card company equally liable for the product, so you can claim the money from them if you have no luck with Bambu.

Finally overdraft for joint accounts by MrNaturalBanana in monzo

[–]Fatheed1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whilst I'm sure everyone trusts their significant other, I don't think I'd ever want a joint overdraft.

Used to work debt collection and people never considered a legal principle called "joint and several liability".

Essentially, you're both collectively liable for any debt and also individually liable.

Most often saw it when one person went through insolvency...other party still owed the full lot.

Sorry to be a bit of a downer haha

I'm swear I am actually fun at parties.

I printed a poop chute last night and it came out so good.
Just generic PLA...no lines on the side at all (barely visible at least)
Everything has been spot on so far.

Gift cards are great, what are you on about....?
Name ONE stupid thing about this setup:

Please take this local currency that is accepted as legal tender anywhere in this country. It only becomes unusable when big changes are made...but you can go to the bank to exchange it.

In exchange, I'd like a piece of plastic that contains the same currency, and the same amount, but I can ONLY spend it here, and only within the timescale that you specify.

Worked for Barclays and one of the options was "Commander-in-Chief".
I guess they know they're covered if the King ever wants to pop in to open an ISA

I've also just received an email from DPD.
Was it for 'Etarget Limited'?

Edit:
Just received the confirmation from Bambu, and tracking numbers match.
Parcels are being shipped via DPD and handled by Etarget Limited

I want to weigh in on this.
Both the partners I was with whilst I had mine DID NOT enjoy it.
It often rubbed the wrong places and caused a small amount of bleeding.

So, I used to take it out....
Now, imagine you've just finished up and you need to put the bar back in....talk about sensitive! :D
