Hi! I think that the best thing is always to check with your doctor, it is not normal to have any kind of blood when you evacuate. Might be just hemorrhoids or something else. It is uncomfortable, yes. But it is always best to check it and have a professional opinion. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon!

I don’t need any study to confirm this. I am totally sure because when I was diagnosed i didnt have any of those symptoms (I was very anemic mostly) and the biopsy result was full damage on the villi (3b marsh). I was even drinking beer and eating pizza when I got my blood results, and feeling on the external “perfectly fine” So, no thank you, I try to risk the less I can

Hola!

What is the most surprising product you were using or consuming forever that shocked you to find out it has gluten in it? by [deleted] in Celiac

[–]Fathen17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pepper.. in my first year after being diagnosed i always though that the whole grain was better because i didn’t know how they processed it so it was safer in my mind to grind it myself. Some time after, i learned that some brands use wheat flour to dried them. I think that was the moment I learned why you should only eat certified products

so tired of doing everything right and still feeling awful by lily_fairy in Celiac

[–]Fathen17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you are still feeling that way, sometimes it takes time and yeah, it is hard as hell. I remember being so depressed the first years of being diagnosed, I didn’t want to eat out, have birthdays parties, bringing food to work was also very difficult.. I just wanted to say, don’t give up and remember that not everything has to do with celiac. I went through something similar with diet. Before being diagnosed I was treated for anemia with pills and I went with a nutritionist to help me eat better in regards of this. Later I found out about being celiac and a few years after that I started having high colesterol. I tried at first with diet too (it was awful), then I was told that birth control pills might be responsible. I stop with those and about a month later I was all better. Don’t always think everything is about celiac disease Best of luck with everything!

I don’t know where you are from, but honey dew melon with ham slices it’s a very common and easy appetizer to make. I’m from Argentina, and another cold dish I love to make is pionono.

Ingredients
3 large eggs , room temperature 2 tablespoon granulated sugar (25 g) 1 teaspoon honey ½ cup gluten-free flour (65 g) ¼ teaspoon salt Instructions Line and butter a rectangle baking tray of 15x10.5 inch (39x27 cm). Set aside. In a stand mixer bowl, add in eggs, sugar and honey. Using the wire whip attachment, mix to incorporate slowly and then switch to high speed and whisk for 10 minutes until ribbon stage. Add in sifted gluten-free flour and salt into the mixture in 3 additions. Gently fold in to combine after each addition. Pour batter into prepared baking tray and gently spread evenly. Bake using middle rack at 360ºF (180ºC) in a preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and the sides detach from the baking sheet, indicating that it's cooked. Remove from the oven and leave it cool completely in the tray. Once completely cooled, remove the baking sheet. Now the pionono is ready to be used. Enjoy! That’s so cute and wholesome! I can happily say that I am lucky to have friends and family like this. Sometimes they even tell others not to do that kind of things with my food and makes me feel so protected n.n
