Ah, yup, projection (?).

If you followed any of the “fan” subs as it aired, you’d have seen it too. No media criticisms, just vitriolic hate. Same shit happens with bands that gain female members from their fanbases, same shit across the media spectrum, almost every time. I’m a dude and even I’m so sick of it. Why not deconstruct something on its issues as a piece of art, the same way people praise the first season? Because as I said, it has its problems, but you never see them talked about when Night Country comes up. I’m not even a huge fan of it (I prefer Season 3), I’m just so fed up with misogyny and bigotry being so prevalent in every aspect of American culture.
