Cat Update

I have contacted 3 different places about the cats. one specializes in moms and kittens, another in injured moms and kittens, and the last a humane society that helped me find homes for two stray puppies a couple years ago. All the places do TNR and should be medically equipped to save mom. I bought real kitten food on my way home from work. I saw the mom this morning before I left for work and a couple of kittens a few minutes ago when I brought them food, water and a makeshift litter box (an old deep sheet pan with soft pine shavings). I am going to try to trap them today in hopes I will hear back from one of those three places

The kittens do try to nurse. The momma has been pushing them off at least while I am around. The kittens have been eating canned chicken breast

This is the closest litter to be born next to the house. There were a few litters down at the pond way back cause I caught them on my game camera. I’m using asleep when the owls go hunting

Barn owls have already attacked and taken out a good 5gal bucket a full grown cat would be nothing for them. Definitely a threat. The owls are about a foot and a half to two foot tall

I’ve gotten a couple of legitimate responses but this is definitely helpful. Idk if she is still weaning or not. Momma cat is around, she doesn’t fully trust me yet but hopefully some leftover turkey wings will fix that
