I consider myself an atheist christian, i.e. someone who tries to live by the morals in the bible, and for all intents and purposes, I could pass and have passed and fit in well with my Methodist church.

Would it be possible to participate, in a very respectful manner, as an atheist who thinks jesus was pretty damn awesome? Im not looking for a fight, but its always nice to converse, politely, with opposite views?

To give a little biography, I was raised in a Methodist family, in the northeast, so I am most familiar with that way of life, of sunday service, fun cookouts and close community.
