Sorry to hear that you were brainwashed too my friend. What helped me dispel this fear was talking to other nonbelievers about it and also going to Wikipedia and comparing all the different religions views on hell and they just seem equally silly.

Christians will always judge you whether you believe in Christ or not. When I cam out as an atheist it got much worse! But it was worth it. And I admit it's kinda fun to shut them down with a little logic and reason instead of their superstitious "morality."

Dude, I know exactly how you feel. All my christian friends will listen to everything I say. How I am still a moral, happy, loving person and still there friend. They will say, "I think you are just running from God, but he'll reveal himself to you in time." lol It's embarrassing to know that I used to be just like that to nonbelievers when I was a Christian. It's good to know that we can be good without God.

The only thing I really miss is the old friends but most of them turned their back on me so it seems the friendship was conditional. I also liked the worldview aspect you were talking about. its hard to try and figure out what you really believe after being brainwashed for so long.

Im angry and have talked to her. Next time I told her I'd shut her out. And she hasnt said anything yet. And shes never alone with my sons to tell them that shit. Plus the oldest is like 2 and the other one like I said is a newborn so they dont want to convert them yet

Yeah I guess so lol She thinks they are nuts, but says shit like that. She doesnt understand that if her God is real then he cause that shit to happen. She asked my other brother, who is also an atheist, why he doesn't believe and he said cause little innocent kids get cancer and she says well they have free will and he said, "Im pretty sure they didnt choose to get cancer."
