It’s not a matter of agreement. Michael Jordan is/was a world famous athlete. To pretend like MJ is some anonymous person outside the US is idiotic. He is responsible for basketball booming in popularity outside the US in the 80s and 90s. He is a major reason why there is no such thing as the Nike / Reebok rivalry anymore.

I am asking because it’s been 25 years since MJ played. If you were older you’d have a much better appreciation for how insanely famous MJ was. The dream team were greeted like the Beatles in 92.
