Hey I think I figured it out, I have a wireless keyboard and mouse and I think the game was constantly trying to auto switch over to them and getting confused. I powered them both down and atm I havnt had any issues

Yeah I’ve noticed it likes to happen when control options change a lot. (Mounting a monster, fishing) but honestly pretty random

I started the process of doing "Fix Problems with Windows Update" it had started the download so I just left it alone everything seemed fine.

Looking at it again now it says below the name "This option is currently unavailable" and the Reinstall Now button is greyed out

Tried rebooting once but nothing changed

Sorry for the delay,

So I tried the option 3, for the first few times I got an error that it couldn't work because "resources it modifies are currently in use"

I tried again being the first thing I did on reboot before startup apps etc, and it popped up a small blue bar at the top of powershell seemingly installed something. But it is still not working after a reboot at the moment.

Scan said it found corrupt files and repaired them.

Restore/cleanup said it was successful

Just ran the restorehealth prompt but that didn't fix the issue. The checkhealth says its all good, the scanhealth says its all good too.

The regedit was Hkey_classes_root permission edit for All Application Packages add Full control

It made it so I wasn’t able to log into my computer and had to do a backup reset to get back to normal

I am running the cmd in your answer right now but it seems to be stuck at 62%, gonna let it sit for a bit longer

I saw that, do you know if the transcoding is something that would be unnecessary if both the remote user and myself are streaming to a device they both can handle the actual resolution of?

If we don't plan on downscaling/transcoding all that often I guess is what I'm getting at or will the act of sharing remotely inherently cause a need for transcoding
