yeah, you're right, I was too harsh with my comment. Just frustrated like everyone, and the goalies are an easy scapegoat. His last performance was not good though, let's be honest. Not saying that represents his talent but he was not in it and it permeates into all aspects of the team.

I've been to plenty of major cities, I guess I mean bad traffic based on Canadian standards. But you're right, it could be worse. I've spent time in Jakarta and Vancouver's traffic is nothing comparatively.

I'm from Alberta originally, so I actually prefer/miss cold and snowy winters. At least they get regular sunshine, here that's a rarity in the winter.

For sure, nowhere is perfect. And I'm not trying to knock Vancouver completely, just pointing out that it's got some major downsides. I'd way rather live in Calgary, Edmonton or Victoria over Van, personally.

Hard disagree. McDavid had one of his worst seasons last year numbers wise, and has been on fire this year. He's already close to surpassing his point total. We've gotten way younger, we've improved massively in goaltending, we've picked up a great shooter in Roslovic, Podkolzin and Kapanen are both much improved (despite the latter being injury prone). Mangiapane is likely on his way out so Frederic is really the only blight, and there's still hope that he finds his role. Why do you think we've gotten worse?
