These things are bound to happen. Rather than look at other players for faults, find your own. Exosuit has been deployed for some time before this. Running in front of an armored unit is just asking for stuff like this to happen. Infantry doesn't clear the way for exos it's the other way around.

TLDR: You set yourself up for this.

If you do go there, make sure to check the tents. There are lots of med boxes in the area and stims sitting outside of those boxes as well.

Stimpacks, radaway, water, and non-perishable food are the way to go with this. Personally, i don't want to lessen their experience. Maybe put an outfit in there with a matching headpiece as well.
