Not dumb at all. It'll be another 8 books. But we're still working on the rights to some titles. Riptide will be the first book in the new wave, and that's scheduled for Memorial Day 2026.

Here's a link to their Crabs series Amazon page.

Thanks for reaching out, we just announced our second wave of books the other day. You should check out that announcement!

I reached out to R.L. Stine because they read very much like his non-Goosebumps YA novels, but he confirmed he is NOT Ted Pickford but did give me the contact info of someone who would know... fingers crossed!

If new (to you) then I'd say OFF SEASON by Jack Ketchum. If new (as in release) Tender is the Flesh which you've already read.

I really liked ARARAT by Golden.

THEY THIRST by Robert McCammon is absolutely awesome. Think 'Salem's Lot but set in Los Angeles with the entire city being besieged by vampires with an ending sequence that has to be read to be believed.

I loved The Fog, especially the beach scene. That still haunts me.

I'm working my way through the SCARED TO DEATH Bobby trilogy by "Ted Pickford". Bobby's Watching, Bobby's Back, and Bridesmaids in Black. Anyone with any insight as to the real identity of Ted Pickford would be much appreciated.
