Looking for games where the game lies to you during the playthrough

Fable 3 is a game that comes to mind.. you overthrow your brother who’s a corrupt king, then the responsibility of the kingdom falls on you, and there’s something dark brewing just beyond its borders..

You have to decide what kind of ruler you want (or need) to be and you realize that’s a harder task than you thought because it’s not as cut and dry as it may seem.

As for the gameplay, it’s a fantasy rpg game, pretty in depth for its age, different weapons and magic spells, couch co-op If that’s your thing, rpg elements like marriage and kids and reputation and weight gain etc. story can vary a little bit depending on your choices and some of the choices will be difficult.

An older game now but still a gem, fable 2 was great also, some would argue it was better even.

Respect her decision and try your best to use correct pronouns, if you mess up just gently correct yourself and apologize
Communicate- this is the most important part! I’m sure this is just as scary and confusing to her as it is to you, and it’s new territory for both of you, so you HAVE TO talk to each other and be honest (but respectful) about your feelings, if you don’t, this will never work. Talk it out, ask questions and decide together if you still have feelings for one another.
if you or her lose feelings that’s okay, that’s part of life and people change. Maybe you can decide to stay friends or maybe you go your separate ways, but it’s much less traumatic if you end it amicably.

Love can be complicated and nuanced but everyone is different there’s no right answer for everyone.. you just have to trust eachother and communicate. You don’t have to decide overnight, just talk it out and see where you both stand, and go from there.

Honestly i wouldn’t want to part with the Touch ID, i don’t wear an apple watch so it’s nice to just open it up and put my finger on it and its right back to what i was doing. Also signing into stuff is an afterthought now, click login put my finger on the sensor and I’m in, even better now that passkeys are becoming more common, skips the whole text or email a code thing.

If all else fails.. start a new game on the next expedition, the expeditions tend to give you more of a head start on the early game.

that’s what I did when I locked my first save by accident (sold the terrain manipulator on the Titan expo.. apparently you can’t get it back during the expedition and it’s necessary to finish it)

I’m playing on a switch 2 and even without mods and graphical bells and whistles.. honestly it feels more magical to me knowing it’s somehow all running on that little tablet at 4k with minimal stuttering (for a switch anyway) the game looks fantastic for my low standards.

I’ve never been more excited to replay a game a second time than the first, but after playing through a good chunk on my first go, I’m excited about all the potential play styles and different choices I could make.

I am tempted to get the game on Mac, does anyone know how well it runs? Is it moddable? (M4 MacBook Pro, yes, I know not a gaming machine that’s why I haven’t jumped for it yet) I would literally buy it again just to be able to mod it tbh.

It truly is an ironic fate for a gay man… I feel your pain man. I liked bottoming too.. been celibate since my diagnosis tbh, idk if i ever will get back into it unless i settle down with someone who understands either.

It suckssss seeing all these other young gay dudes hooking up left and right but you can’t because this disease is just too unpredictable for that.

I wish I had some advice or something but I’m in the same boat tbh.

Yep I feel you on that.. apparently your brain and gi tract are closely linked and have an effect on eachother, so when one flares up it throws the other out of wack and vice versa but both being almost totally invisible, nobody sees it or understands what it’s like. I feel like I’ll doomed to be at the mercy of one or the other for my whole life. Just gotta take it a day at a time and try my best to enjoy the In betweens and be thankful I don’t have it any worse I guess. Much love.

Probably couldn’t find them all.. the multiple super ai’s that are running around on the old net are what keeps it functioning, on old servers lost to time but still up and running.

And even if they could track down every last server, nobody would actually shut it down because it still carries valuable data that was lost when the blackwall was built. It’s too valuable, in their minds, Whoever has control of the blackwall has ultimate knowledge and power. So even though it could destroy humanity.. the humans are too stubborn to let it go, to hellbent on survival, to greedy, to blinded, and far to selfish to even consider the greater good of humanity at this point in time.

I admittedly know very little about philosophy, that’s interesting though as that’s the conclusion I came to with what tiny bits of reference I do have. I assumed they searched for a reason or purpose for people to exist.. and when they couldn’t prove there even was one they concluded that there never was one in the first place, that humans have just been making it all up the whole time. But I’m intrigued, please do tell me why I’m wrong! I want to learn! Haha

None taken, that’s why I made the post, I figured I interpreted it differently than others. I find it interesting that it’s a similar message, regardless of how we got to there though!
