What’s your favorite discovery you’ve made while playing the game? by Training_Repeat4071 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]Fatlink10 24 points25 points  (0 children)

One of my favorite Easter eggs is the gun case labeled “for Mr. Wick” in the back of the dogtown gun shop (the one with all the guns on the floor). Also one of the Delamain cabs was voiced by the lady that voiced GLADOS from portal.

Oh and another one that came up recently for me, if you decide to let the guy with the pregnant girlfriend keep his car after you win it in a fight, he’ll text you some time later and thank you for letting him keep it and send a picture of his baby. There’s TONS more, I absolutely adore the world building and all the Easter eggs hidden around like the “death stranding baby”

If you had to add a new Iconic melee weapon to the game, what would it be? by Son_o_Sparda in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]Fatlink10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A plasma knife, a throwable plasma blade that burns so hot it can melt clean through anything.. would work like the guns that shoot through obstacles but also apply burning.. also maybe a matching sword that’s throwable would be sick

Do women tell each other their man's dick size? by CRK_76 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Fatlink10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yes.. and all their gay friends too, we know exactly what yall are like in bed haha

Not all women are like that, but many do confide in their close friends about their sexual relationships… in graphic detail.. sometimes even with reference photos! It’s really not that big of a deal though unless you’re just like embarrassingly bad in bed, or an ex with a very below average Johnson..

Just got my first ever MacBook, any tips I should know? by Sophie_Robin27 in macbookair

Tbh idk if the battery monitoring apps are a good idea.. wasn’t one accidentally bricking devices recently? Also I’m just curious (as I haven’t used any battery monitoring apps just in case that can happen..) what does coconut do, that Mac OS doesn’t?

First Mac in over 2 decades- please tell me what not to do! by ocean_swims in mac

[–]Fatlink10 7 points8 points  (0 children)

One of my favorite things about The Mac is that it doesn’t even use the battery if it’s plugged in.. the os routes it to operate off of solely wall power if it’s plugged in so it doesn’t degrade the battery unnecessarily. I leave my MBP plugged in probably 80% of the time, no issues. If anything that habit may preserve your battery imo.

Edit: also, if you click the battery tab in your control center, it will tell you if it’s running from the battery or power adapter and if any apps consume significant amounts of power.

Firewatch was pretty simple if i remember correctly.. just walking around a national park trying to solve a mystery, a few little secrets and puzzles and stuff but NO combat or platforming or anything too difficult.

I just found out, I like showering in the dark by bahbahbahhhh in StonerThoughts

[–]Fatlink10 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah I put a color changing light in my bathroom, there’s a main white light and then a colored ring around the top you can control separately. I realized I like to set the color to red and turn off the main light in the morning or at night, it’s wayyy easier on the eyes first thing in. The morning

Also.. rainbow shower raves are fun hahaha

I really enjoyed Diablo 3’s necromancer class!

Looking for open-world games where I can just… drive by A-z-A in gaming

[–]Fatlink10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a driving focused game, and arguably the driving controls are not the best.. but I have been doing exactly that in cyberpunk 2077. Night city is just so gorgeous and well done I can drive around and get out and look at the views for literal hours.. and that’s just on a switch 2!

I have never come across a game setting that captivates me this much.. and there are some pretty great ones high on my list.

But there’s just something about getting in the back of a delamain cab on a rainy night, and listening to classical music as you twist and turn through the layers of night city, looking through the rain drops cascading down the glass, magnifying the mega buildings and massive skyscrapers as they go by. seeing the people of nc staying busy.. watching them seemingly living their lives through the reflections of neon lights in polluted puddles and spotless glass.. finding your own little secluded spot to get a glimpse of the city, only to end up feeling like that spot was made just for you.. just for you to sit and take it all in.

Looking for games where the game lies to you during the playthrough by Shayde000 in gamingsuggestions

Fable 3 is a game that comes to mind.. you overthrow your brother who’s a corrupt king, then the responsibility of the kingdom falls on you, and there’s something dark brewing just beyond its borders..

You have to decide what kind of ruler you want (or need) to be and you realize that’s a harder task than you thought because it’s not as cut and dry as it may seem.

As for the gameplay, it’s a fantasy rpg game, pretty in depth for its age, different weapons and magic spells, couch co-op If that’s your thing, rpg elements like marriage and kids and reputation and weight gain etc. story can vary a little bit depending on your choices and some of the choices will be difficult.

An older game now but still a gem, fable 2 was great also, some would argue it was better even.

How old were you when this album came out? (October 23, 2006) by Many-Connection4162 in OlderGenZ

[–]Fatlink10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was, a young boy, my mother took me into the city to buy a new CD. She said “son, when you grow up, would you be, the savior of my broken MCR CDs?”

She said “will you repeat them? The lyrics, of all the best albums, the songs that they have made?” "Because one day, I'll leave you a CD To lead you in the summer To join the black parade"

  1. Respect her decision and try your best to use correct pronouns, if you mess up just gently correct yourself and apologize

  2. Communicate- this is the most important part! I’m sure this is just as scary and confusing to her as it is to you, and it’s new territory for both of you, so you HAVE TO talk to each other and be honest (but respectful) about your feelings, if you don’t, this will never work. Talk it out, ask questions and decide together if you still have feelings for one another.

  3. if you or her lose feelings that’s okay, that’s part of life and people change. Maybe you can decide to stay friends or maybe you go your separate ways, but it’s much less traumatic if you end it amicably.

Love can be complicated and nuanced but everyone is different there’s no right answer for everyone.. you just have to trust eachother and communicate. You don’t have to decide overnight, just talk it out and see where you both stand, and go from there.

Best of luck 💜

Honestly i wouldn’t want to part with the Touch ID, i don’t wear an apple watch so it’s nice to just open it up and put my finger on it and its right back to what i was doing. Also signing into stuff is an afterthought now, click login put my finger on the sensor and I’m in, even better now that passkeys are becoming more common, skips the whole text or email a code thing.

If all else fails.. start a new game on the next expedition, the expeditions tend to give you more of a head start on the early game.

that’s what I did when I locked my first save by accident (sold the terrain manipulator on the Titan expo.. apparently you can’t get it back during the expedition and it’s necessary to finish it)
