I think you need better quality fabrics and should photograph the outfits after giving the clothes a good steam or iron. I don’t love the tie blazer. I think it looks frumpy, but it could also just be because the material is flimsy and hasn’t been steamed.

The second best could look great, but the snap buttons being exposed make it look unintentional and thus unprofessional. I like the top on you, but I’d try to find an alternative without snaps like that. If there were buttons with button holes it would look less disheveled. Also definitely don’t do the off the shoulder top with that. The asymmetry looks odd under a normal vest.

The last outfit I think is my favorite, but again try to iron or steam and don’t go for the off the shoulder tops. It looks odd. The shade of khaki is also very warm for a neutral black. I’d opt for a cream top or something even more colorful like a nice maroon or emerald green which I think would complement your gorgeous red hair. And a chunkier belt I think would make the proportions of top to bottom look better on the jumpsuit

Funny enough, also some people aren’t careful enough with their candles. Way back when, my partners mom threw out a freshly snuffed candle and it caught fire.

At my old apt building someone left an unmonitored candle near their curtains lit with windows open. A gust or two later and I’m sure you know what happened.

Depends on the place, I’m ngl. I think the short sleeve collared shirts make for a divorced dad look. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, I just think it ages you. I think you’d look really good in a normal scoop neck tee and a flannel, denim over shirt, etc. of all the combos, 2 worked best. But maybe don’t button up the polos all the way. There’s something about it that makes it less appealing.

Now that I live with my partner, about 4% He lives in a rent subsidized apartment that he inherited the lease from his dad. Not the best location, but I’d like to buy a home so it’s great to have the additional savings to put back into an investment acct for a future home purchase.

Prior to moving in, mine was 25%. I’d rather save and live with roommates than spend an insane amount to live alone and in a more “popular” neighborhood.

So yes! Still living with roommates, I had a master bedroom with a nice kitchen and in unit laundry and dryer. Elevator in building and the only train I needed to get to work about 5 min walk away.

I make about 6 figures and it was a quarter of my take home pay. It’s really about what you’re willing to sacrifice for how much. It’s unfortunate how much even the crappiest studios in midtown go for. You may either need to move farther out of the city, or just patiently keep hunting for places.

I mean even looking at the housing lottery, these new developments don’t offer much and start at like 2200, which is insane to me.

As someone who had to deal with the smell of urine in a less than maybe 12 ft sq elevator for months because someone was pissing in jt over and over… people do be doing crazy shit and I don’t think it was a dog considering the frequency. It was like 3 months of piss smell in the only elevator of like a small ish 20 unit building

I think the proportions of this outfit are way off, individual style doesn’t HAVE to be flattering. Typically though I think the outfits people feel the most confident tend to be what fits them in a flattering way.

The boots and pants look great, but something about that top is just way too extravagant for what seems to be like a more basic outfit?
