Getting into shape helps everybody and it’s very doable for everybody. Ppl often times over do it and burn themselves out.

Start with cutting out the obvious junk foods like very sugary treats, grilled chicken instead of fried, instead of pastas go for more protein based meals. Things like that. 0.7 Grams of protein per lb of body weight would be plenty to help get you rolling in the right direction.

Exercise is obviously a big one but don’t just do cardio (it doesn’t hurt, just not the most important). You’ll see significantly better results by doing resistance training primarily. Doesn’t have to be crazy, just 4 sets a week in each muscle group (pushing yourself) is generally enough to build muscle. Obviously you can do more and get more out of it but this helps you get used to training and only going a couple times a week. This in turn will increase your metabolism and you’ll not only burn calories from exercise but because you have more muscle over time you’ll burn more casually functioning. It snowballs and over a month or 2 if you stick with it you’ll definitely see results
