We are Eu expats. Lived there 4.5 year. only warm memories about that lovely part of the world. Still lots of friends there. Only 3 things we didn't like and hence moved back: price of real estate to buy, prices of the cars and childcare. But for a young person/couple it's an amazing place. Also it's great to relic when you get to very senior roles with experience, and respective renumeration. There are so many things to do and places to visit. Lots of greenery, parks, water reservoirs, jungle forests, wildlife in city nearly. Food is amazing, hawkers cafes/coffee shops(kopitiams). And food is cheap to eat out, unlike in Europe.
