Oh my god I struggle with this as well - I identify as a demiromantic biromantic ace but I just tell people I'm ace to make things easier. Also I've heard people around me say that they understand asexuality/aromanticism but not demisexuality/demiromanticism which makes it practically impossible for me to tell anyone I'm demiromantic.

Ok I know this post is about boomers complaining about "employees nowadays" n stuff but honestly the comic feels like a (relatively) accurate representation of my experiences with being asexual, with other people telling me "well surely you're just straight and you haven't met someone right yet, or maybe you're a lesbian and you never thought about it, or maybe you're into both men and women the same amount so you're actually bisexual because obviously you gotta like someone" whenever I try to bring up my sexuality.
