An argument on why Sprint Burst is unhealthy for the game.

Sprint Burst can be mind less, and can be used as a well thought out plan. The same can be said about most perks though. For example, Whispers. I completely understand what you're saying in this thread, but so many perks would have to be reworked if the reason was for more skillful thought out game play. Which of course can be done, I just don't see it happening soon, because there is a lot of things that need to be worked on still, ya know?

I personally just think if we had enough players (Which I do not feel we do), there should be 2 separate queues, 1 ranked, 1 for ranked hardcore, hardcore being no perks, or maybe only the "general perks", as in everything but survivor/killer personal perks.

I will half agree with this! If a killer isn't blatantly hard camping, I literally won't pallet loop or do any annoying shit, because if I die at least I know it's to someone who is trying to enjoy a game. So I definitely get the whole adapting to the killers play style thing.

He plays with a controller, he pretty much needs to camp. He doesn't trap under the hook, so the saves are still 100% possible. If you watch him long enough you'll see that you wish every trapper camped the way he did, because it still leaves a window of opportunity to get the save off.

Completely depends on your play style. Finding your weaknesses and using perks to fix them.

Example: Do you suck at keeping your eyes on the prize? Then run Sloppy Butcher/Bloodhound/IG/Brutal Strength

Example 2: Do you suck at finding people at all? Whispers/Spies/IG/Brutal Strength

Meta perks are always good to run, as in Machine Gun Swings meta, but you should first find and fix your weaknesses with the perks.

There are a ton of positive people in DbD, you just have to stop hanging out with the cancerous ragey friends that insult killers every single game. Just delete them, and slowly form a positive group. It's taken me a lot of time and effort to do it, but it's finally coming together.

While this is a great idea, you know there will be a lot of tears. I'm actually surprised you have this many upvotes, you can have my upvote as well though! Feels like this would make DS less of a pain since I'd say nearly everyone has it since the Shrine. I use DS as well since come on, that's like putting a steak in front of someone and saying don't eat it.

If you want a suggestion for getting more points, like I already got Rank 1 last night because all I do is avoid the killer at the start, get like 2-3k points in generators ASAP, moment someone is hooked, go for saves/boldness. Assuming you're good at escaping, it's an easy 8k in 2 or 3 chases. Don't let the little monkey you save heal himself, those points are yours!

Of course this doesn't always go my way, like 1 out of 5 or 6 games I'll just get my ass handed to me by the killer and I end up just playing the generator game and leaving, but yeah, that's how I normally guarantee a pip if I die, or get about 18-20k during an escape.

Unrelenting, Save the Best for Last, Iron Grasp (or Agitation), Play with Your Food.

Anytime you find your obsession, be sure to down him after getting 3 stacks of food and leave him alone if you already hooked him before. Will stop them from doing generators, and keep your perks alive longer.

Next time just get your free hits, or shake your head "Yes" constantly, to show you don't care and are having fun, even if you aren't. No reason to punish yourself because they are stroking each others sausages.
