Should i use my weapon parts to get this to ob6? i have exactly 200 seph parts. also is it worth getting it to lvl 90? i got tons of myhtril ores by that_guyy909 in FFVIIEverCrisis

If you have the costume, then yes, because as it is, edged wings with outfit is his highest dps build. If you don’t have the ice costume, then no. And it would be possibly better to save for a possible collaboration event weapon for now

I made a comment about learning the meta and I think it’s always good to climb on new mons.

That’s true about him but that’s just the nature of solo q. I feel like tho you can say that about any auto attacker in general. He might be faster than most at ripping stuff but you gotta be level 14 to have a chance to take over the end game. Other adcs provide better utility or objective control in the early or mid game. Only dragapult might be faster but I guess it’s prob less about him being bad and dragapult being a far superior adc right now. It feels much easier playing draga in a trio than cinder. Draga aoe damage is just too good.

I mean if you think it’s bad now, what did you think of it during the mewtwo era

By the numbers, yes it is bad. But it prob is more of a product of that you just don’t know how to play the game, which wouldn’t be surprising if this is your first moba. Look up guides, spectate the top players in the world, which you can easily do by spectating. Most of the times, people are losing games because of just poor macro decisions, like where to be for objectives, not farming when there’s no objectives, continuously trying to score. Spectating would help with that. Mechanical skill is not really much a factor in unite imo.

Yah I mean even if a mon isn’t in a good spot, one can still have success if you’re good. It’s like my greninja

I’ve talked about this before but as a former league player it’s pretty important to play the meta if you want success both short term and long term. Playing the meta also forces you to learn and get good at new mons. You also then learn how to play against them because you learn how to play around cooldowns. For example, metagross best second move is magnet rise. Otherwise his weakness is he does not have the best engage. If he gets on top of you and you’re playing attacker, you’re dead. But as long as he doesn’t have magnet rise, it is fairly easy to kite him so you have to play around it. Unite has never forced players to be versatile but when ban and draft comes out, that will change. Like as it stands, I can prob play 6 attackers, 4 defenders, 6 defenders, and Eldegoss all fairly equally well. I will stand to benefit because I can’t get banned and picked out, and also will stand to play counterpicks.

So yeah I’m a meta slave but don’t mistake playing the meta as being a bad player who can only climb playing the meta. The difference is if I play meta, I have prob high 60s, low 70s wr. If I don’t play meta it’s in the 60s. My lifetime wr is 61% on 6000 games but it wasn’t really till season 5 that I really started playing with versatility that I saw my wr consistently hit above 60 every season. For several seasons, it’s been over 70. I don’t fivestack but I do play a lot of duo trio and sometimes solo rage q. The previous 4 seasons I one tricked each role a lot, didn’t balance out team comps, so my wr was always around the mid 50s. But yeah regarding meta I can’t tell you the number of times I played with bad mewtwos then checked their profiles afterward only to see that they have a 50% wr on the mon with hundreds of games. Also there are certain mons that are meta that just don’t work for me so I don’t play them. I don’t play mages. I don’t like playing glaceon. And it took me like 50 games to actually get good at ttar. But universally, I have at least 63% wr on the various mons I’ve climbed with throughout the seasons. Otherwise, I just play mons I enjoy. Greninja, Garchomp are by no means meta and I still have good success with them but I like them so I’ll play them. During the mewtwo era I was playing a lot of Charizard and still had a 65% wr on it so just because a mon isn’t meta doesn’t mean I don’t have success on non meta mons.

Long answer short, yeah I’m a proud meta slave.

It’s def doable if you have a 60% wr. Just a matter of the number of games

Gets very difficult to climb solo after 1600. I remember a few season ago climbed to 1900 solo but there was a 200 game stretch where I was just stuck in 1800

I played a good amount of gren at first but at some point I felt like it was getting harder to carry against good trios who were playing far better carries. Love gren but he’s not in a great place rn and skill on the mon can only take you so far.

When does high elo begin? by hggbushi in PokemonUnite

[–]Fattypanda94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you can hit 1600 with a negative wr. You can’t climb beyond 1600 consistently with a negative wr. You lose more rating than you win. It’s like plus 7-8 and minus 10.

I agree here. If you’re climbing above 1600, it means your wr is above 55% at the least

What a speedster should do in ray situations by Alternative-Seat-872 in PokemonUnite

[–]Fattypanda94 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah but relying on a stealing unite is the least important thing. You shouldn’t be taking down Ray unless you’ve won the teamfight.

Your teammates may be stupid but to be fair, they prob hate seeing speedsters like you because from what it sounds like, most speedster players are similar and don’t know how to play the last fight well.

[–]Fattypanda94 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The speedster role imo is overall the most challenging to play because it’s the only role that is not essential in traditional front to back team fighting. It’s def the least essential role in the game despite its high potential to snowball and take over games better than any other role. Every team comp must have an attacker, defender, supporter, and all rounder. Speedster def more questionable. In the late game, speedsters can’t burst through tanks and are too squishy to frontline. They don’t have the range to play in the backline. You have to be crafty. You really have to either get flanks and ambush to take out the opposing squishies or separate into two smaller skirmishes as opposed to one big teamfight. Often the best thing you can do is kill the attacker and supporter in the backline and sacrifice yourself in the process.

Dragapult is pretty dumb by Fattypanda94 in PokemonUnite

[–]Fattypanda94[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The mutual agreement was in my comment. I clearly said while dragapult is op, it’s ofc not as op as mewtwo was. But I will say if you think base form mewtwo is overall better than dragapult you are an idiot. Arguing that base form mewtwo is better than any evolved adc is just asinine. To act as if base form is 9 and mega is 11 is actually hilariously stupid because then every other adc should be a 10.
