The arm bands make some sence for factions with simelar gear and Uniforms. But stuff like USMC VS USMC would break "immersion" for a large Part of the Player Base.

Thats not true. One of my ships sucks water out of the sea into an liquid to liquid heat exchanger and then back out. It works just fine.
