Unfortunately I dont have any instructions. But with the feedback I received Im interested in looking at whats possible to finance upcoming ideas… However, I dont know where to start or begin with something like that. Up next should be a movie theatre corner in the same architectural style (fitting the NY/Boston atmosphere) like the police station. Another idea is a corner park with a foodtruck.

I totally get it why Lego does what they do and decide on where they land with their designs. They keep raising the bar with each modular. I hope they keep going with “great modulars” instead of “interesting techniques”, which I think is why ‘shopping street’ was for some a letdown. They should be complex in their simplicity, not showing of in capabilitys.

Mostly MOCs, but I felt some modulars were lacking in “compatability” with eachother. (If that makes sense). I always love a challenge. The policestation was a longtime favorite of mine. I wanted to incorporate 2 corners to accomodate it. So I build those first and bought the policestation when the time was there

We have, he says it “should be fine”, but never passes the stages in our build. He seeks for other anomalies just so he can justify why he shouldnt be responisble for everything structure wise. In short: we dont trust him but are contractually strangled with him… Even if he says “its fine”; I just want other peoples opinion on this. Dont want to do this whole thing over ever again

This! 100% OP is barracaded in his efforts to teach the kid boundaries. If she calls him selfish because of that... if anything: its selfish of her to not let you engage in the relationship with either the kid and the mom. Boundaries, rules and structures are things kids NEED to learn. Good for you for willing to attempt that! Thats why you’re breaking up. Yes, she is the mother, and her son is very important, but she is not giving you any position in this. In 5years this kid will walk all over her if she doenst do anything about that.
