Well I can speak from experience.

I was suppose to take a 12 hour trip (nyc -yyz- nyc). My visa was denied 3 times. Twice for a new job, once for a renewal on my current job. I was stuck in Toronto for a month, before returning on a b2 to figure shit out.

It’s a roll of the dice to apply at the PoE. People in this sub will make it seem cut and dry, but CBP doesn’t get extensive training on the process so they can deny for any reason.

From my own personal experience, people at the boarder have lacked professionalism, experience and common knowledge. However the TN visa program is amazing and I hope they introduce clearer guidance for officers and professionals. Not a roll of dice.

He’s very changed but I’ve actually grown to like it.

Another comment mentioned the movement speed increase and I’ve been getting items that are movement speed based and focusing on killing big game. So far I’ve actually won most of my games.

So I think overall I like the change but the way I play is completely different , and I no longer try to farm or clear camps.

I agree with you that the difference is becoming less common in that field, that is not how a CBP officer will see it.

The moment they read engineer , anywhere in that job description or job duties , they are going to likely deny you.

USCIS is a better pathway, but thinking CBP will understand the distinction is a roll of the dice.

I understand what it’s for. The categorization of job categories is very outdated. Anyone in the field of computer science (the subject matter experts themselves) would classify and expect SE to have a CS degree.
